Moses, the first biblical prophet, lived more than a thousand years before Jesus Christ. According to some sources, Moses lived in the fourteenth century B.C. According to others, he lived in the thirteenth or twelfth century B.C. Please see the related links for details.

In Christian theology, Moses did not see the face of Christ during his earthly life. According to the New Testament, Moses did have encounters with God, such as when he received the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. However, the belief is that Moses did not see the full glory of Christ until the Transfiguration, as described in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke.

1 Corinthians Ch3:16-17Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

The Bible does not literally say that the Holy Ghost will not dwell in an unclean temple. But the Bible does say that if we are saved that our bodies are the temple of God and if that is so then the Holy Ghost is dwelling in you. If you have not asked God to come into your heart, you are a sinner and your body is not the Temple of God. The only way that your body an be the temple of God is to ask Him to live in your heart and soul.

So in short I believe the scriptures IS saying that the Holy Ghost can not dwell in an unclean temple.

The accuracy of God's word has helped me to understand it better, and has cleared up the confusion that other translations brought to my mind. Now, I understand and feel in my life what Jesus said when he said, the truth will set you free. Therefore, I must thank God for helping me to wholeheartedly search for the truth of his word as he intended it when he inspired man to write it.
