What is refined olive pomace oil?
For refining the oil, there are three basic processes in the refinery. First process is neutralizing the oil in the neutralizer to remove the Free Fatty Acids (FFA) by adding caustic soda. Oil is heated upto about 60°C by thermic fluid coils and oil is stirred by stirrer. Then soap stock formed due to chemical reaction is allowed to settle at the bottom of the neutralizer from where it is taken out into soap pan. Neutralized oil is drawn into the second vessel called bleacher where colour of oil is removed by bleaching process with aid of chemicals such as carbon black and bleaching earth. Oil is generally heated upto 110°C by thermic fluid coils. Stirring is also continued. Bleaching process is done under vacuum. Bleached oil then goes to the filter press where bleaching earth and chemicals are separated and clean bleached oil is then drawn to deodourizer where oil is heated above 110°C through thermic fluid coils and then live steam is given to the oil from the bottom steam nozzles and temperature of oil is raised upto 200 to 220°C through thermic fluid coils.

Wooden Cold Pressed Olive Oil
Cold pressed olive oil is made when olives are pressed to produce oil without heat or additional chemicals. When cold-pressed, the olive fruit will stay below 50 C (or 122 F). At this temperature or below, the properties of the oil don’t get damaged. This is why, when pressed cold, most of the olive's nutritional value sticks around after turning to oil.

No, canola oil comes from the seed of a weed, the rape weed. It was originally processed as a synthetic motor oil, during WWII, when petroleum based lubricants were scarce.
Canola [Canada Oil] is known in Canada as LEAR Oil {low-erucic acid rapeweed oil} it is derived from the seed of a weed. Canola, Safflower, sunflower and others are seed oils and not derived from a vegetable, such as soybean or corn; or fruits like cocoa, coconut or olive oils. There are several other oils in all three above categories, most cooking oils are interchangeable in use, and fruit and seed oils often are incorrectly called vegetable oils.

How does olive oil and honey and cinnamon help for hair loss?
Olive oil is helpful as it makes hair soft when you have frizzy or dry hair and has alot of vitamins in it. It also gives shine to your hair and makes it grow faster.
Honey makes your hair soft and makes it lighter when your hair is dull, damaged or dry and cinnamon stimulates blood flow to the scalp, so that's where the growth comes from.
Normally, a dirty scalp, heredity, stress and other such reasons including lack of sleep and improper intake of protein can be held responsible for hair loss. It is interesting to note that those suffering from hair loss or baldness, may apply a paste of hot olive oil, one tablespoon of honey, one teaspoon of cinnamon powder before bath and keep it for approx. 15 minutes and then wash hair. It was found very effective even if kept for 5 minutes as well.

Can you put extra virgin olive oil in your eyes?
Sadly, I am an expert. lol. When I have had conjunctivitus (5 times or so in my lifetime) I have always taken a q-tip (separate q-top for each eye) and gone around the rim of my eyelid with a dab of olive oil (preferabley with a little bit of argan oil mixed in) because it helps with the inflammation very much.. When you do this, you can also bring the qtip to the corner of your eyes where most of the secretions would be coming out normally. Your vision will look blurry but that's normal. It does help a lot!
Another thing I do is make sure to take Cod Liver oil capsules (great for eye health and immune support) supplement + Vitamin D3 (immune support), and if you have it Licopene supplement (or tomato paste orally). Other things that help with this are rinsing your eyes half closed in the shower every day after waking, cold compresses and changing your pillow case (and only sleeping on your back). Continuously wash your hands and be careful not to touch your eyes. Use fresh makeup applicator with each application of makeup (seperate applicators for both eyes as well) if you must wear makeup. Allergy Eyedrops are okay but will burn if you apply them directly after the olive oil...Best to wait a little while before doing so. I have found that eating a little! bit of sage, or drinking sage tea, a little while before bed can help with the redness in your eyes because it helps the body use oxygen correctly.

When making biscuits can you use olive oil instead of vegetable oil?
Many would say that there is no substitue for butter, but the act of substituting olive oil for vegetable oil will indeed make a biscuit. It will, however, alter the flavor. I find in baking, olive oil is not only much healthier, but it also makes the flavor of the rest of the ingredients more vivid. I would suggest using olive oil rather than vegetable oil whenever possible.
How many tablespoon of olive oil everyday?
One tablespoon of Olive Oil is more then enough on a daily basis.
No, olive oil isn't an essential oil for one main reason.
Essential oils are the essence of fragrant herbs or plants. To create an essential oil, steam is pumped into a chamber containing the plant, and the minute amounts of essential oils (the main fragrance and medicinal compounds) are captured by the steam. Then the steam flows into a condensing chamber, and the oil and water is condensed into liquid and then separated. It takes a lot of plant material to create even one ounce of pure essential oil. Olive oil is made by pressing the olives to extract their flavor and oil (not as concentrated as essential oil).

Is unrefined olive oil and cold pressed olive oil the same thing?
There are many types of olive oil, each made in a different way. 'Cold-press' olive oils are made with a special chemical-free process that results in higher-quality olive oil with lower acidity. Most virgin olive oils are made with this cold press technique, and so are fruitier and lighter than regular olive oils.
Regular olive oils tend to have a lighter color, less noticeable flavor, and a lower smoking point than cold pressed olive oils. The lack of flavor makes this oil ideal for certain types of baking, where the flavor of olives is undesirable. They are also less expensive, as the chemical processes used to refine this oil are more accessible to manufacturers.
Can you replace olive oil when making body scrub?
