It's called athletic tape. You can purchase it from any drug store, Walmart, or sporting goods store. It's usually less than $5, and there are different widths. For fingers, we generally use 1.5" tape with some 3" for an anchor depending on the fingers that need to be taped and whether it is just for support or if it's protection from injury.

Pre-wrap is also recommended.

During regular volleys, any part of a player's body may make come in contact with the ball, so a kicked ball or even a ball that hits a player's foot and rebounds is legal.

It depends on the age level:

Middle school usually plays best out of 3 sets; in the first two sets, 21 points are needed to win and the 3rd set plays to 15 points. (So, either 42 or 36 points are needed to win a match.)

High school freshmen and JV teams play two games to 25 and a third to 15 if needed. (So, either 50 or 40 points are needed to win a match.)

High school varsity and all college teams play to 25 points except for the fifth set, which is played to 15. (So, either 75 or 65 points are needed to win a match.)

Olympic gymnastics, nowadays, goes by FIG rules. This is the elite scoring system which does not follow the 10.0 score. Instead there is an execution score and a difficulty score. The execution score is out of 10 and shows how well you did your routine. What you do wrong in your routine (bent legs, a fall, etc.) goes toward the execution score. The difficulty score is made up of the bonus points for all the difficult skills you did in your routine. Each skill is graded from A-G and has a certain amount of bonus tenths for each. The gymnast's actual score, in the Olympics, is the combined of the two scores. This is what determines who wins, who got the highest, in the Olympics. There is no perfect score because it depends on the difficulty of the gymnast's routine. A single gymnast could get a 15 or a 16 or maybe even an 18. It is where you play another team, like a real game but you usually don't keep score. You play normal but sometimes the coaches get on the court and tell the players what to do, where in a normal game the coach cant stop the game to do that.

A service attempt is anytime a player serves regardless of whether the ball goes over the net or not or if it goes in or out.

There are many hand signals in volleyball. There are the kind that are used by the players and those used by the officials. The signals used by the players and coaches will vary from team to team.

The officials signals are used to signal when to begin a match, when to serve, when the play is over, who earned the serve and point, how the play was won or lost and when the game and match are over.
