B/c this infant was born so early, it can NOT produce surfactant in its lungs like full term babies can (b/c surfactant is produced in the last weeks of gestation & this infant did not get a chance to stay in the womb to produce it), so it will have to be submitted through entubation within 24-48 hrs of being born. Many of these babies will have chronic to severe respiratory problems for the remainder of their lives.

it is probably easier for him i used to be like that but i settled into being left handed The boy has not yet " decided " which hand he will use to write with. At a certain point, his brain will decide on left or right "handedness " Don't push him to use one hand, over the other, let him find out for himself. Do encourage him to "keep on writing " with either hand.
Please see a doctor Immidiately. Any kind of lump in the body should be dealt with seriously and shown to the doctor at the earliest. What causes a lowered rib cage on one side and raised on the other in a teenage boy?
We'll I had a scoliosis of the spine (a curve in my spine) which caused my spine to look like an S other people's may look like a C but back to the point in scoliosis patient the ribs rotate around to one side of the body this is called a kyphosis or one shoulder may be higher than the other due to the side ways curve. Hope this will help answer your question:-) it is also important to know that a severe scoliosis may crush the heart and lungs, potentially leading to heart problems so it is a good idea to go to the doctors! Also only 4 in 1000 people have scoliosis and it is more common in girls (about 3 in every 1000 girls) I have had the surgery and 4 months post-op and although I can only swim, walk and do phsio therapy for a year I have no regrets. The only downside is that the metal rods are really uncomfortable and the pain after the operation is worse than anyone can imagine (unless they too have had titanium rods drilled into their spine)

If the Mother is an alcholic will the child be an alcoholic?
this depends on how you mean it, but ill answer the best i can
when born, yes the child will be an alcoholic, and will essentially go through rehab within the first few weeks. However, this is assuming that the mother continued to drink while pregnant. if she did not, then there will be no problem. this is because whatever the mother consumes, the child does as well.
if you mean genetically, it is not guaranteed, however it is widely believed that the child will have a pre-disposition to become an alcoholic within their lifetime because the mother has a naturally addictive personality, which is the cause of the addiction, and therefore those genes were passed down to the child. This theory can be debated however, depending on if you believe in either nature or nurture.
I hope i answered your question :)
