I'm almost positive that Pepsi is acidic. I know the pH of coke is ~2-4, so I think it's similar.

"Homogeneous" might be deceptive; the liquid itself is homogeneous since there's dissolved carbon dioxide, but the bubbles could cause it to be considered a "mixture" since they are visible... but that's only because the liquid is saturated with carbon dioxide.

Even if there is 0 grams of protein, then there can still be a small amount of phe. The formula is to add .5 to the 0 and multiply by 5, so there could be 25 mg of phe in a can of Pepsi
