With their teeth and with their speed. Piranhas are only a few inches long, but they have razor sharp teeth. By travelling in schools of hundreds, even thousands of individuals, they represent a daunting challenge to predators, as well as a risk to animals and humans.

Actully, piranhas usually won't eat fish. They may eat them if they are already dead, though. Piranhas typically eat animals such as duck that are floating above the surface, which may appear to be dead. Piranhas are mainly scavengers, and feed off of dead animals carcuses usually. To skin a baby cow to the bone by a pack of piranhas will sometimes take only 3 minutes. Also if you were wondering, piranhas aren't the scary killer fish you see in movies. They don't kill humans intenionally. The only reason they may attack a human is if they sense fear. Once they do, they know you are vunrable. Piranhas in captivity have lived more than twenty years, but ten to fifteen can be considered normal in freshwater.
I don't know how long on average wild piranha live, but the world's oldest recorded prianha was kept in an aquarium in Bolton, Lancashire, and lived to be around 40 years old, before it died around 1999. Correction, the piranha died in 2000 and was, sadly, only 24.

A single piranha can not eat something the size of a human. It would take concidering the type and size quite many. the smallest pirahnas wich are the silver red bellied piranhas in a group of 500 could devoure something that size in aproximately ten minutes.

In Piranha attack, they take bites each from different parts one after the other until they are full or the prey it totally devoured. Only bones are left in most cases.

Piranha attacks are more frequent on humans now a day since in south America, a lot of dams have been built. the flooding gives them larger areas for nesting and that is the reason why. They are now bigger in numbers.

Piranhas are in the subfamily Serrasalminae. Other fish that are in this subfamily and that are closely related to the Piranha are Pacu and the Silver Dollar

Baby Red Belly Piranhas about 2 to 3 times a day. As they get older you can slow down to about once every other day would be best. You don't want to feed them too much because it can cause many intestinal problems for them.

The piranha releases a hormone into the water when it is ready to spawn. Both fish become dark in color and they act territorial and aggressive to any intrusions. They build a nest, clearing plants and stones with their tails etc. The male then goes into the nest and persuades the female to join hum. This is where she lays her eggs, and where the male then fertilizes them. He will then stay guard over the eggs and sometimes the female will assist him in doing so, as well.

The most dangerous fish in the world is the great white shark. it has very sharp teeth to grind its food. It its so much and never gets stuffed.

All animals that live underwater must obtain oxygen in one way or another. Fish for example have gills that move water past their blood vessels allowing oxygen to diffuse into their bloodstream. Mammals and some other animals must return to the surface of the water to breath in oxygen.

While they are under water they eat many things, other animals, algae, and detritus.
