The Secret Rank is obtained by first speaking to Mr. Mime in Treasure Town. He will mention the legendary explorer Scizor and tell you that he was last seen exploring Blizzard Island, and then show you where it is on your map. If you complete this dungeon, a second will appear, called Crevice Cave. If you defeat the boss, Frosslass, Scizor will grant you the Secret Rank upon returning. The Secret Rank is used to take the special Wondermail search missions. There are seven. Each will unlock a secret dungeon that is home to a legendary Pokemon who holds a certain item that boosts recruitment rate for a Pokemon type.

It has been confirmed that arceus will be in Pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of the sky coming in fall 2009 but he is not in any other mystery dungeon at the moment

That's not true! I've beaten the whole game and Arceus is NOT (N-O-T) in it.

2nd answer: there are several in the dungeon you meet darkrai in and every one of them will ask to join your team if the right conditions are met. please note that once you say no to a pokrmon that wants to join your team no one will ask until you go through the same dungeon again saying yes to every pokemon that wants to wether you want them to or not.

you can get a friendship bow from a rescue misson code i used one myself for the friend bow the misson code is: 1?9? ??Y? 4??6 NF?? F4?6 KS?? the misson is at tiny woods and the client is bulbasaur you need to find him and use your rescue badge to bring him at the peliper post office i hope this helped!

I have kyogre in the game it was not easy to get it on your team ok you need TM dive to go there ok then take a grass Pokemon as your leader or team mate theres 40 floors in the dungeon on the 40ets floor you will see kyogre it shold be preety easy to beat if a grass Pokemon.just ask me for more help if you need it.please don't thank me ok.

First of all, you have to beat the game in order to recruit any Legendary Pokemon.

Its reccommended that u have a friend Bow (easier to recruit pokemon)

First, Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno.

Zapdos is at Mt. Thunder, Mt. Thunder Peak3F

Moltres is at Mt. Blaze, Mt Blaze Peak 3F

Articuno is at Frosty Forest, Frosty Grotto 5F

Recruiting these should be easier. Pokemon Mysery Dungeon book says "Likely" recruit rate. No friend area required, when you recruit one of these, you unlock Legendary island.

For Rayquaza, you need to go to Sky Tower. Its almost 30 floors total, so brong apples. Bring a friend Bow, becasue Pokemon Book says "Very Unlikely" recruit rate. Same as Legendary Birds, no friend area is required.

For Groudon, you need to go to Magma Cavern. this is about 25 floors. bring Friend Bow. After the mid point, you only need to go 1 floor. then warp zone, then you are at Groudon. Also, a "Very Unlikely" recruit rate. No friend area as well.

For Kyogre, you need to go to Surround Sea, 40 floor. Bring apples, and a friend Bow. Kyogre is a "Likely" recruit rate, but he is 40 floors away, and no Mid-point, so bring a friend Bow.

Mew is in Buried Relic 36-99 floors, but Mew is only on one of those floors. You need to beat Regirock, Regice, and Registeel for the rock, ice, and steel part. It combines into a Music Box. Use it the very next floor to draw Mew out of hiding.

Well, sometimes you can get a secret slab for doing missions. If you cant get one from a mission, try using keys to open locked doors. when you go inside, you might also find a gummie or another treasure like the lost loot. they are also worth alot, and are often the first things to disappear when you faint. great items come with great responsibility.

p.s. you have to go to zero isle to get a key. store bought ones arent cheep.

After you beat the Final Maze, Marowak gives you a Brown Bow, which raises Attack, Defense, Sp. Attack, and Sp. Defense by 1, and won't be lost on a failed mission. Just like the bow you get at the start.

Starter or legendaries usually have the best stats and more often then not good learnable moves . Personally I believe the best pokemon to use is palkia because 1 he is able to learn 3 all room attacks that hit hard and have solid accuracy2 his stats are nice, especially sp attack since that allows you to attack without contact 3 being a water dragon type gives him an all around defense, though you'll probably knock out other Pokemon before they get the chance plus once you've used gummies special drinks and X-ray band palkia will become nothing short of a god. If you consider give him the following move set. Water pulse spatial rend Draco meteor and earth power. Not only will these last you a while but they look cool when executed. If you need a Pokemon with many different choice of projectile attacks use remoraid and evolve him kinda late. Other than that stick with starters or small legendaries.

The Munchlax event is completely random and quite rare. You can go for hours playing Mystery Dungeon and never actually see it. There are no special requirements (except, perhaps, for Mewtwo's defeat), so it is best to check after every mission to see if Munchlax is in the town square. Patience and persistance is the key.

Of all the time I've played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon I only have spotted him twice in the same day without doing anything special the first time I never had any food but he gives away a munch belt and his appearance is rare.So patience is definitely required.But Munchlax will eventually appear.
