Where is the power steering reservoir on a 97 grand prix?
The reservoir is mounted directly on the pump, which is directly below the alternator. You can see it if you look closely below the alternator. You will see the reservoir cap, it is a little tight to get to, and to fill it you will probably need a funnel.

How do you replace a rear main seal on a Pontiac 428?
Some mechanics will drop the pan, this includes removing the timing chain and harmonic balancer, then loosen the main, removing #5 then pull out the old and insert the new seal. This can be done with out touching the rod journals. The only problem is the seal is fiber, looks and feels like waxy braded rope. The seal needs to be formed and that can be a problem. When done right it takes a tool the same size as the crank journal 4", to do it right. I have never bought seals that were pre formed or that didn't need to be cut in to the right length to fit and working around the flywheel or flex plate make fitting tough.
I have replaced one rear main seal while the engine was still in the car and it worked for a short time on a '70 350 but it was a miserable job to say the least and I said I would never do it again. When the seal started to go the second time, I pulled the motor and using an engine stand I then pulled the crank and pushed the pistons down out of the way and fitted the seal the right way where I had better control of the quality of work I was doing.
There is a new Viton seal for Pontiac engines. USE IT. It's expensive $35 but worth every penny on a Pontiac.
Over the years this has been debated a bit. Pontiac ad executive Jim Wangers has claimed to be the "father of the GTO" but most sources credit John Delorean (who was chief engineer of Pontiac Motor Division at the time) with the GTO's inception.

What is the bolt pattern for 2004 gto?
5x120
This is the metric equivalent to 5 on 4 3/4. Meaning most wheels for GM cars will bolt right up. This does not include pickups..(except the S-10) or the older large bodied cars that used 5x5.
Where is fuel filter on a 1969 Pontiac gto?
From the factory the only fuel filter on it is installed in the carb. Remove the fuel line from the carb. At that same location, remove that housing on the front of the carb. It's the large nut. The fuel filter is located in that housing. If it's not a "stock" car and running a Q-jet then an aftermarket one can be installed just about anywhere.
