Can you take a pregnancy test while you're pregnant?
Yes, but why? If you are pregnant and already know it...... Yes. Most pregnancy test kits involve testing your urine (usually your first morning urine) You can pick up a test at a drugstore or grocery store. Good luck!
Alcohol in the body can only diminish with time... Drinking coffee or water will not help nor will sleeping.... Give yourself a few days and it should be out of your bloodstream by then
You are 10 days late and you took a pregnancy test but it came out negative are you pregnant?
It's possible. There are several things that can contribute to a negative pregnancy test even if you are pregnant. Some medications can give you a false negative, the timing of the test can affect the results. If you did not follow directions properly; if you let the test sit for too long the results may read negative after a while. It is important to read the results within the amount of time given on the instructions of that particular pregnancy test you bought. If you did not perform the test properly (example: you drank a lot of fluids before taking the test, which can dilute your urine). Etc To ensure the best results: * Take the test in the morning, if possible, because your hCG (pregnancy hormone) levels are at it's highest * Don't drink a bunch of fluids before taking the test because it will dilute your urine and can affect the results * Take the test no more than 1 day before expected period. Although some test say that you can see results up to 5 days before your missed period, the percentage of accuracy is very low. * urinate for as long as possible on the foam-like strip * Check the results in the window frame of time suggested by the instructions of the pregnancy test.

Can you be pregnant if you have all the symptoms but the tests are negative?
I would say you probably aren't pregnant because you have had your period and home tests are negative. But just to be sure you should go see a doctor. They will be able to give you a blood test and answer your questions better. you. Good luck!
i disagree. you never said that you had your period. everyone is different. not everyone has the exact same symptoms at the exact same time. i would wait another week then test again. the levels of hcg may not be strong enough to detect yet!
Yes. Believe me, even if you have your period or just had it you can take it. You can also get your period during your pregnancy. I did, i just got it lighter and shorter.
You need to go back to your doctor & ask for the Quantitative beta HCG blood test. Your doctor most likely performed the Qualiative beta HCG which can not pick up pregnancy unless your between 3-5 weeks along. Also ask for a ultrasound & a hormonal blood test. If this blood test is negative then you can definitely rule out pregnancy.
Can you have a paternity test done on an unborn baby?

How can you tell you had a miscarriage without going to a doctor?
Actually, I think it depends on how long ago it happened. If you were indeed pregnant, your body would have produced HcG hormones at a rapid rate. After a miscarriage, it usually takes days to weeks before the hcg hormones are completely out of your body. If you are showing any hcg hormones at all, you were pregnant, as your body cannot produce this particaular hormone without being pregnant. So, have a blood test done to check hcg levels if you think you miscarried recently.
It means that there is a very good chance that you are pregnant. Make call your doctor and go see them. If you are trying to hide it call a family planning clinic in your area if you have one. Good luck
Can midol stop early pregnancy?
It is important to read the label of your box of Midol. Some types of Midol are NSAIDs - non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which are contraindicated in pregnancy. It most likely will not cause a miscarriage, but it can create persistent changes in the baby's circulation that can cause grave harm to the baby once it is born.
Other types of Midol are acetaminophen based. These types of Midol are considered safe to use in pregnancy. Make sure you read the box and find out which one you have. Remember pregnant moms - don't take NSAIDs in pregnancy!
This is a partial answer. See above for a more complete answer. No. Midol contains acetaminophen (paracetamol), one of the safest pain relievers there is, and caffeine. Neither of these cause miscarriage. However the literature states that you should consult a health professional before use if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
Answer 2A previous answer stated that paracetamol (tylenol), could have adverse effects on the fetus. As noted above, it is one of the safest medications available for pain and fever during pregnancy when used in recommended dosages. There is no reason for concern if you took this drug while pregnant!
Can you take an at home pregnancy test while having your period?
Yes, but if your menstrual blood comes in contact with the test strip it will not give you accurate results. If you have your period, you might not be pregnant. You should wait fourteen days after intercourse to take a home pregnancy test and get accurate results.
You should read your directions in the pregnancy test package.
What does a negative result look like on a cvs brand one step pregnancy test?
It should look like a red line I think.

Yes, you very well can be but you won't really know until you take a test. Yes, you can definitely have cramping during pregnancy and does not necessarily mean a miscarriage. If you have any bleeding along with the cramping you should definitely bring it to you physician's attention. I would definitely be running up to Walmart and buying a pregnancy test if your period is past due.....
This is common and very common among women who have done Invetro-fertilization (IVF). It could even be implantation you are feeling. Take a test or wait a few more days then test if your period still has not shown up.

Not at all. In a urine test, being diabetic may show the presence of sugar or ketones, whilst pregnancy tests look for the presence of a hormone in the urine. Being diabetic does not therefore affect the result of pregnancy tests.
How soon after intercourse can you show symptoms of pregnancy?
Some people say that they felt pg within days, but it usually takes 6-10 days for implantation and HcG (the pg hormone) is not created until after implantation. this is the hormone that is responsible for symptoms like nausea, vomiting, constipation, gas, etc. Progesterone is present in all women for approximately two weeks after ovulation, but for pregnant women it remains high, and for menstruating women, it falls. Progesterone causes alot of symptoms common during pg, but can also cause those symptoms for women during the two weeks after Oing and before her period. Many women say that they felt pg very early, but what they were probably feeling was the effects of the progesterone that they would have felt otherwise, but only noticed, or remembered because they ended up pg and the symptoms continued and became more prominent.
