My best advice to you is to approach the conversation with evidence by which to support your argument. Write down all of the symptoms of ADD you are having over the course of a week or so leading up to the appointment. The doctor may still want to test you. If so, do as he says. Don't assume you are entitled to the prescription or even that you have properly diagnosed yourself. You may have a vitamin deficiency or something of the like, and that case another program of treatment might be necessary. A good doctor will do what they believe is helpful for the individual they have sitting in front of them.

Since Adderall is a stimulant medication used for ADHD it probably has a vasoconstrictive action (similar to caffeine). Vasoconstriction means that the smaller blood vessels get slightly smaller in order for a larger volume of your blood to be directed to your larger organs. Because of this action, the blood vessels and capillaries that supply blood to you arms, fingers, legs, and toes become smaller which means slightly less circulation which can cause them to become cooler than usual. Cold hands, fingers, feet, and toes doesn't always mean that your blood is "thinner" and there is no literature on Adderall that states that Adderall "thins your blood".

Yes. You can actually take up to 40mg a day. I was on 30mg/daily for about 5 months. It made me gain a ton of weight, but it helped tremendously.

I can't say for sure but I take Focalin and i tested positive for ecstasy amphetamines and meth even though I had never done any of those drugs so it is likely however it was a cheap home test which is less accurate

Lexapro should be taken daily. Taper dose down slowly before ever stopping this medication, Xanax can be taken daily but can be addictive if taken for extented use. I recommend taking as needed. Ambien can be used for insomnia but not recommended for long term use. Use when necessary and limited use will insure effectiveness. Adipex can be used daily but diet and exercise more important. This drug will curb appetite but will cause anxiety and insomnia. Not recommended for long term use. Lexapro, Xanax, Ambien and Adipex can be used during the same day but again understand that the Adipex will cause insomnia, and anxiety and when this drug is eliminated, the need for Xanax and Ambien will diminish.

Depends on your body. Some people get addicted quite easily, but some don't. For example a pack of cigarettes will be enough for one person to become addicted, and for other months are needed to become addicted (like me :D ).

I just had a prescription filled for 30 20mg Adderall XR capsules. Without insurance it would have been around $215! Since my insurance sucks I still paid around $175. Gonna talk to my doctor about switching to Dexedrine which is comparable to Adderall and costs around $40-50 depending on the dose. Just an FYI, you can get a generic version of Adderall (sold as mixed amphetamine salts), but only in the instant release version. "U" should not snort anything unless you want to damage your brain and your body. No one is immortal and no one is immune. nothing. it takes about three weeks to build up enough lexapro in your system befor you start seeing changes in your serotonin levels, so snorting it once wont do anything.

There are foreign pharmacies that advertise online the purchase and shipment of Adderall to America, but it is not legal to do that..... Depends. Extended release supposedly lasts a little longer. Taking three 5mg tablets will stay in your system for a few hours depending on how long you've been taking them, what food you've eaten (citric acid will decrease absorption of the med), and how fast your liver metabolizes the meds. I take 15mg three times per day, and I have for 20 years. I take my doses every 4-5 hours. As far as how long the meds are detectable in your system is a few days on average. Your body processes the meds quickly. Hope this info helps.
