Wild rabbits generally know when it's safe to have their babies. If wild rabbits are having babies in the winter, that probably means they're surviving; if they aren't having babies in the winter, that probably means they wouldn't survive if they did.

your bunny probably finds it harder to drink out of the water bottle, maybe its to low or too high, if its adjusted to th rabbits height already and still wont drink from it, try filling a small bowl with water and see if that works, or get one of those tiny cat bowls that comes with the jug ontop that keeps filling the bowl each time its empties, less for work u too!

My dogs found a rabbits nest today, one of my dogs killed a baby rabbit (they are hunter dogs) and the other is still alive. I actually don't know/am not sure if it is alive. How do i see if the rabbit is still alive?

You may also notice a very crude version of a nest by either bucks or does during a heavy molt. Well I was told told 6 months but i know that's not true as my female rabbit gave birth unexpectedly at just over 4 months old so she must have got pregnant at just over 3 months old, so i would definitely keep males and females apart from each other before they reach 3 months in future, as its not recommended for them to have babies this young.
