Also Allah (s.w.t) tells us that every other act of worship we do is for us but when it comes to fasting,we fast for him.If a Muslim brother or sister is unable to fast for some reasons accepted by Islam he/she should pay the days they missed by fasting after ramadhan and if they can not fast still,one should give`kibaba'. There was an attempt at poisoning the prophet (pbuh).

It was a Jewish woman from the tribe of Qurayza, after the men had been killed.

She attempted to poison the prophet, but she was not successful, even though the prophet had a taste.

Once he realized it was poison, he called for her...

And asked why she did it.

She gave him the reply, " You killed my husband, and my father, if you are a true prophet you would surely have realised it was poison, if you are a fraud, i would have favoured the people by getting rid of you"
