What would cause a moderate itchy rash that comes and goes on the arms and lower face?
If you have just been in the bath or shower it could be a heat rash.
If it's always there then it could be eczema*.
you could, however, just be allergic to whatever you're waching with.
Diaper rashes are often caused by the chemicals used as fragrances for wipes and diapers. The best thing to do when finding an inflamed area with a pattern connected to the diaper contact area, is to try and determine the cause. It could be an allergic reaction to the specific brand, if so you should think about what brands you are using and what might be causing the irritation, as well as using cloth diapers. There may also be an infecition, in which case you might have to think about refering to a doctor for more details on topical antibotics.

Can your breastfed baby have an allergic reaction from something you ate?
YES!!!!
Although it's extremely rare! In case a baby shows an allergic reaction to breast mik, it is more likely that it reacts to foods which the mother eats, as they pass through the breast milk into the baby's digestive system. On many sites (especially on forums) you read that "babies are never allergic to breast milk". This is NOT true! It is very rare though. There is a genetic disease called methylmalonic acidaemia (MMA). This condition means that the baby is unable to breakdown protein and thus the protein in the milk is poisoning the whole body. This is a very serious situation and can eventually result in the babies death, if the breastfeeding continues (see http://www.itv.com/Lifestyle/ThisMorning/Health/AllergictoBreastMilk123/default.html). More info here: http://children-allergy.com/is-your-baby-allergic-to-your-breastmilk
In very rare cases a mother's immune system can create antibodies (transmitted through the breast milk) that can be harmful to her baby. In that rare case, the baby cannot continue breastfeeding and the mother will be offered a shot by her medical doctor to prevent this kind of immune response in future childbearing. Again that's very rare, and the number one symptom of that is SEVERE jaundice. If you suspect that your child is suffering from food-allergy you should consult with your pediatrician. Unfortunately many pediatricians are reluctant to conclude that a child is allergic to food. Your may have to fight your corner. Also many are hesitant to tell a mother to drop things from her diet, because they're concerned about her nutrition. Stand your ground and if your pediatrician refuses to listen to your concerns, you can ask to be referred to an allergist.

Can the use of liquid nitrogen on your skin cause an allergic rash?
No. Nitrogen does not irritate skin. But liquid nitrogen is extremely cold, and it can damage and kill skin (and other) tissue. It is a bad idea to allow your skin to come into contact with liquid nitrogen. Note: Some warts are "frozen" in an effort to remove them. In a clinical setting, liquid nitrogen is sometimes used to super-cool an instrument so the wart can be frozen. But this is a medical procedure and is done by professionals. Liquid nitrogen is not something that should be looked upon as a "toy" or "recreational plaything" by anyone.
actually there is a cure
i have also been suffering with the same problem for 4 years. (im 18) When i am in a situation that i am uncomfortable with or when i get angry or nervous, i break out in the hivey red rash on my chest and neck. it is horrible!! however, my doctor let me try a beta blocked known as propronolol. I take 20 mg once a day and it is cured. it has literally changed my life. PLEASE talk to your doctor about trying it. I have no more blotches!!! IT IS A MIRACLE CURE!! It works by blocking some of the adrenaline that causes an overactive response in the fight or flight part of our bodies which leads to the rash over my neck.
Bedsores normally occur because of pressure ulcers on the skin. For example, an elderly person who is bed ridden will normally have bed sores. This is because they are constantly in one position and they are not allowing their skin to breathe by the lack of moving.

Hard to say without more info. such as age, medical history, current meds, etc. Also would be easier if I could look at it, touch it etc. If you are on birth control pills or have any circulatory problems, it could be a superficial blood clot, which needs to be seen by a doctor immediately. Many other possibilities, so get it checked out.

Yes! I find that after abusing alcohol in the past, now everytime I try to drink any hard alcohol I will wake up with a blotchy red rash up and down my face, neck, and sometimes my hands. There is a related condition called Asian flush. Even if you are not Asian, it can still happen. They call it Asian Flush because many Asians cannot metabolize alcohol properly. See the Related Links for more
