At the first sign of inflammation most men who are sexually active become concerned about the possibility that they have contracted an STI. Fortunately, these problems are often created by a common skin condition or irritation that causes a rash, soreness, itching or burning. Keeping the area clean and dry will clear up the irritation and prevent it from reoccurring.
Prolonged sexual contact (including masturbation) can also result in friction sores and/or burns. Using a good lubricant will reduce the possibility of this type of inflammation.
If the rash or spots develop into open sores, blisters or any skin condition that "weeps" fluid or puss, or if you are uncertain about the cause of the condition, you need to be seen by your physician or health care provider.
Tiny red blood marks on your body can be a sign of serious disease. Contact your health care provider right away for advice specific to your situation.
