I was born with chronic eczema and was prescribed with Elocon at a very young age. I am now 20 year-old and can honestly say that my skin IS thin. Sometimes I even get this ripping pain on my face and chest. When I wear sunglasses the area around my nose that holds up the glasses will become bruised for a few days where as a normal person will only have it for less than an hour.

Yes. It will follow a nerve. As you must know shingles usually are brought on by stress so it's important you seek out professional help to try and lower your stress level or you could have more attacks of shingles. Some people use to have it for a year or more. Please see your doctor and have him/her explain it all to you and they will give you medications for it. Good luck Marcy

The CDC reports that about 90% of all adults are immune to chicken pox.

The virus can be spread only by the infected person and is contagious from just before the rash breaks out until the blisters are scabbed over ( 4 to 7 days ), after exposure 10-21 days pass before symptoms begin.

Doctors recommend keeping children with chicken pox out of school for about a week.

It is not necessary for you to stay home from work if you have been immunized or have had them in the past, only the infected people within the above stated time period are contagious.

Why do you have a rash on your penis?

At the first sign of inflammation most men who are sexually active become concerned about the possibility that they have contracted an STI. Fortunately, these problems are often created by a common skin condition or irritation that causes a rash, soreness, itching or burning. Keeping the area clean and dry will clear up the irritation and prevent it from reoccurring.

Prolonged sexual contact (including masturbation) can also result in friction sores and/or burns. Using a good lubricant will reduce the possibility of this type of inflammation.

If the rash or spots develop into open sores, blisters or any skin condition that "weeps" fluid or puss, or if you are uncertain about the cause of the condition, you need to be seen by your physician or health care provider.
