yes they will cause a skin rash the sings for one would be,

-itching in the spot the rash is or all over your body

-Red marks forming on your arm magically [if arms red from something else your OK]

-Pain coming from your body when you do something

- and the last thing if in your private or any other places apply rash cream as soon as you notice this unfamiliar red spot on you.

[skin disease is not likely to happen but if not cared for a long time may cause a slightly bad reaction]

I cannot speak as an MD, but as someone who breaks out in painful red bumps from eating chocolate, drinking cocoa, and drinking some varieties of coffee. It is consistent and repeatable, so I classify it as if it were an allergy.

I soak my finger in hot salty water every half hour.

First u warm up water in the microwave for 2 minutes then when it comes out put a lot of salt in a container and u need to put ur finger in the water when it is warm enough then once the water gets cold empty it out. Then after about the 2nd or 3rd time u soaked it take a pointy sewing needle and poke the area where the pus is enough times then keep doing it until all the pus is out. (It took me 2 days to get all the pus out!!!)

My doctor told me to start "rotating" things such as for a few days use a different lotion, then a soap, then a laundry detergent, etc. Also foods, medications and fabrics may need to be rotated.

Your best bet really is to go get allergy tested.

You will probably have little red bumps all over your body an if its something you ate or got into your blood stream into small cuts, you will have them on your tongue also.

It is an allergic reaction if it is sudden and keeps spreading over hours. Then, you look at what you have eaten, worn or done differently over the past few days. Taking benedryl can help alleviate some of the reaction, but once you've been exposed to a "toxin" it takes a few days to pass it. Oatmeal baths and Aveeno anti-itch creams help. OTC 1% cortisone cream can also help, but not for long term. Avoid spray on "--caines." Major culprits for me are soaps with bleach, makeup, lotions, new clothing/sheets/towels and new meds. Try putting a cup of white vinegar into your final rinse cycle to get the soap residue out.

Hydrocortisone GEL, not cream or ointment will alleviate the itching and the pain, but the way to cure it is by taking prednisone. My wife has had her rash for three weeks and starting taking the prednisone last night. The swelling is gone and so are the bumps. She is not itching and there is only a little redness. She started taking it at 9pm last night and I am typing this at 8am the next morning. This is great! She is getting back to her normal jolly and happy self..........So the prednisone is great for us dad's too!!! :-)

Day three...my wife is back in her sexy clothes and out of the robe that she has been wearing for three weeks. She is off with mom shopping.

One week later........rash is completely gone.

The price of the prednisone which was prescribed after she called her doctor was 4 dollars.

Why on earth would any person in their right mind even contemplate putting toothpaste on their nipples? It probably won't cause a rash, but if the skin of your nipples is sensitive to the ingredients of toothpaste then it is possible for a rash to form.

hives are like little red bumps that really itches. it can be caused by eating something that u r allergict of. DO NOT SCRATCH or it will get worse it will spread itll itch even more and it will last longer

I am no professional but I researched lots after my husbands ordeal. If they also look like blisters (which may burst and ooze out fluid and get very itchy) , you may have shingles. You may also feel a stabbing like pain. If so, then you should get checked out as it might be shingles. My husband had it about 20 years ago and I had to completely soak the areas with several bottles of calamine lotion a few times a day to relieve the pain and itch. He was basically bed ridden for about 1 month as he had it bad with the itch and pain. He also used a pain killer such as Tylenol etc. The blisters have to basically dry up and will look crusty. That shows the healing and will be very itchy at that point as well. But I would see your doctor first. Even though my husband no longer has shingles he still feels the effects today sometimes.

Yes. Generally the rash confides to one area of the body, sometimes the chest, normally the upper back or neck.

Some people get the pain but never develop the rash. These cases are much more difficult to diagnose and can be mistaken for other diseases. Your doctor would need to do a blood test to confirm the diagnosis.

You are most likely allergic to the betadine that that they use to sterilize the area before giving blood. Try using some anti-itch cream on the area for a couple of days.

If this is not the case, it may be an allergic reaction to the co-ban that they put on your arm after you donate, next time try asking for a band-aid instead and see if this helps any.

it differs. somedays it feels like its not even there and you have clear skin. but when it flares up you have to itch it, you feel the need to itch it. if you leave it long enough you feel like if you don't itch it, it will drive you mad. then you've itched it, you feel it come up some where else and you itch that and so on and so on. when you have stopped itching you may feel it start up again so you will itch it again. this keeps occurring until you are satisfied. you could be bleeding and you still aren't satisfied. But it's different for everyone, this is just how it happens to me.

I am allergic to Prednisone. I have been since I was a little girl (I'm 45 now). Though my doctors know that I am allergic, sometimes Prednisone is what they mandate (for reasons), despite the consequences. So now I'm on a 10-day course of 10mg Prednisone for treatment of bronchial infection that will not go away; I also have Asthma and take Singular daily, along with inhaler only when I need it. 7 days into the treatment, I began breaking out into a severe rash all over my body. Knowing that it was going to happen did not make it any easier.

Treatments my family has used successfully: (will help with prednisone rash symptoms)

* luke warm bath filled with baking soda. Soak for as long as you like.

* luke warm bath; fill a sock with oatmeal (a lot of it), tie up the sock and put it in the bath as you fill up the tub. Soak for an hour (that's what I've been doing lately).

* After the bath, I've used oatmeal lotions
