How many decibels does a recorder produce?

The decibel level produced by a recorder can vary depending on the type and model. Typically, handheld audio recorders operate at sound levels ranging from 60 to 100 decibels when recording, depending on the source sound. How do you play note f on recorder?

on a soprano recorder, there are two f's. The lower one is played by closing thumb and three fingerholes of the left hand and closing the first and third finger holes of the right hand (first being index finger, third being ring finger.) On some recorders, the fourth finger hole must be closed or shaded to get the note in tune.

The upper f on soprano is fingered exactly the same way, except that the thumbhole is slightly opened (called "pinching" by recorder players.)

On the alto recorder, 3 f's can be played: the lowest requires closing all the holes.
The middle F is played by closing the thumbhole and middlefingerhole of the left hand and no other holes. The highest f is played with the thumbhole pinched (very nearly closed) and the first two fingerholes of the left hand closed, while the right hand only closes the first fingerhole. Often, for a beginner, it is easier to get to this note if one starts with the E below it: same left hand, but the first two fingers of the right hand. Once this speaks clearly, removing the middle finger of the right hand should let the f sound. Tongue this note and adjust the thumb pinch until it comes out easily, then practice going directly to that note without the intermediate e!

Where was the first wooden toothpicks made?

The toothpick has been around longer than our species. The skulls of Neanderthals, as well as Homo sapiens, have shown clear signs of having teeth that were picked with a tool.[2] It is the oldest instrument for dental cleaning. Toothpicks are well-known in all cultures. Before the toothbrush was invented, one cleaned one's teeth with hard and soft dental woods. Toothpicks made of bronze have been found as burial objects in prehistoric graves in Northern Italy and in the East Alps. It was also well-known in Mesopotamia. There are delicate, artistic examples made of silver in antiquity, as well as from mastic wood with the Romans. In the 17th century toothpicks were luxury objects similar to jewellery items. They were formed from precious metal and set with expensive stones. Frequently they were artistically stylized and enameled. The first toothpick-manufacturing machine was patented in 1872, by Silas Noble and J. P. Cooley.[3] Nowadays other means of dental hygiene are preferred like the dental floss and toothbrushes, but the usefulness of the toothpick is apparent in the fact that the plastic version of this device is a firm component of the Swiss Army knife
