They seem to have different firmware installed, but the Bush remote code work for my Digilogic DSTB1000 (from Tesco.) This works : 21284, also try these :

My remote demands that I use a '2' in front of the code to indecate a set top box. You may need to read your instructions to see if you need to remove the (2)

the dynex code is 096 for the Amino Aminet 125 remote control. Ensure your tv is turned off before entering the code. As stated in the Aminet user manual, the red light on the remote should turn off when the correct code is entered, but you have to manually click the tv button on the remote to turn the light off. This should work.

This depends on what actually causes it to be defective.

The easiest and cheapest in many cases would be to buy a universal remote control.

If you really need to fix it, then I would suggest checking that batteries are giving power to the circuitry inside. Often with a battery leak, the wires inside get heavily corroded and the remote control might be faulty due to this.

Codes are remote control specific. Use your remote control manual (or your cable company guide) to find the code for your brand tv. If there is no code for your tv alot of times another manufacturer's code will work. You just have to be patient and try all the codes. For example, my COBY TFD1973 TV/DVD combo code is 248 the same as Audiovox.
