What is the vegetation of the prairies?
Most grasslands only see an average rainfall of around 500 to 800 mm per year, such as that of the Great Plains and Mixed-Grass Prairies of the USA and Canada, respectively. The Serengeti of Africa is no different, though the Serengeti happens to have a few thousand more trees than a natural North American prairie does and has an annual rainfall that is around 200 mm more than what the temperate grasslands of North America get. The topography can range from flat to rolling hills, and is generally treeless because of the lower moisture content. Some grasslands end into cliffs and canyons and start on plateaus or in ancient volcano beds, and others are vast and run for thousands of miles without a break in the landscape.

What should i use for guinea pig bedding?
Along with timothy hay another good bedding source is Kiln dried Pine Shavings. BEside being a comfortable way to sleep, it is cheeper than most bedding and guinea pigs don't need to eat it so unlike timothy hay they never have to worry about eating their pee or poo. Because that would be very nasty. Don't ever use Cedar Bedding thought it is bad for guinea pigs and can KILL them :( The cedar bedding is bad because the strong smell can cause respiratory problems.
Guinea pigs can also be kept on wood shavings (not sawdust!) and many companies also sell large bales of shredded cardboard which makes excellent piggy bedding (this is often sold for horses who are allergic to wood shavings and is usually available mail-order)
Some are eaten by alligators and birds of prey will eat some of the smaller ones
How do you train a ferret for rodent control?
The ferret is a carnivorous (meat eating) mammal of genus Mustela of the Mustelidae family including the domestic ferret and an endangered species, the Black-footed Ferret. For hundreds of years, the main use of domestic ferrets was for hunting called "ferreting". Ferrets have a long, lean body, with an inquisitive nature, that makes them very well equipped for getting down holes and chasing rodents and rabbits out of their burrows and nests.
For centuries ferrets have been used for rodent, mice and rat extermination and control. Ferrets have a natural instinct to hunt and kill rodents. One time I had a baby rat trapped and showed to my ferret, she immediately grabbed by the back of the neck and killed it in one bite.

Do muskrats attack humans in the water?
I guess so because one is living under my shed! We live about 2 blocks from a lake so maybe it's a little bit lost... a few times a day I see him/her making a mad dash from the yard next door, on one side or the other, into the little space under our shed. Then it turns around and rests there with its head sticking out enjoying the day. It really is cute. I just hope it's not causing any damage...haven't gotten close enough to check out the situation yet.
You just need to eat everything if you want to here in place that you don't like here yet again
