We love TV, and theatre is also very popular. Football rules, as far as sports are concerned. In the summer, everybody barbecues on a patch of grass, preferably by a river, and the rednecks litter everything and listen to loud kitsch music. I might add that BEER is very popular, too. The youths are on the net ALL the time and they have stopped reading books, but until 10-15 years ago it was the most beloved form of entertainment.

well because there's some cool stuff to see here. One of the most interesting things to see is the Danube Delta (which you can easily research on wikipedia). Also Transilvania is very nice, lots of breathtaking sceneries. And in Bucharest (capital city) you can find the second largest building in the world (The people's palace or "Casa Poporului) this building is 2% larger in volume than the pyramid of Keops in Egypt

Yes; after the end of the communist rule the economy (industry, agriculture, transport) of Romania was systematically destroyed.
