Any dog should be compatible with a Collie if both are well-trained, de-sexed, and have nothing to fight about. There's no reason why they should not get along.
A rough Collie is a type of Collie.
There is no should or shouldn't, it is a matter of personal choice, some guys do and some guys don't.
it depends on the size of the motheer and father. they can grow as big as a great dane can
yes border collies are friendly. and they do live many years. they are obedient, good to train
Could be a neurological disorder. I would have it checked by the vet. ASAP.
Yes, actually, they can-fine if you know how to treat them. A smooth collie is more suited for the job, but rough collies are good, too. Never let them too long in the sun-maxium is about 2-3 hours or so. They cannot stand the heat and might get heatstroke, and also their noses are prone to sunlight. Once dry, this can cause breathing problems.
It's not only border collies that do it. I have a border collie sheltie mix and he pees in the house in the same room, also.
Its a territorial thing. the dog finds a nice place that's comfortable and pees there. Once he pees, his scent is all over that one room, that's why it's important to clean it up right away. Your dog will then return to wherever his scent is and pee there until he finds a new spot that he likes better. Don't let him have the freedom of peeing wherever he wants to, he'll soon take over the house and feel like he's the dominant one. Try crate training, regular walks, and lots and lots of positive reinforcement. Herding dogs like shelties and border collies hate being scolded and only want to please, so really praise them when they do something good, and a small but stern correction when they do something bad will be enough.
Good luck! Hope this helped!
No, not a purebred. A Canaan Dog's tail does curve over its back, though, and they're pretty similar to the BC in temperament.
I had a Wicklow Collie in Ireland. She was about one third smaller than a normal sized Border Collie. Her parents were also smaller. She was very smart with strong work ethic. I was unable to find that breed anywhere else outside of Ireland.
Seem to be good, my rough collie is a legend
You go on to google and write border collie info
I'm assuming your border collie is the typical black and white coloration. If that is the case, then, no matter what color the other dog is, most if not all of the pups should be black and white, black being the dominant color. The puppies will probably be smaller than rough collies, without the long "collie nose." My guess is that some will have longer coats than the others. Since the average border collie litter is 8, and a rough collie litter is usually between 6 and 10, you can expect 8 or 9 little ones.
um start with the old compresion check jack um could be anything burt piston rings to timing being off i would suggest a complete tune up then compression check then if that's ok start checking voltage outputs of the coil/paks and ignition and emmisions controls sensors ect......
AnswerIt sounds like what my '94 was doing. It ended up being the fuel pressureCommon problem with 1995 4.3 w central port injection is that the injector lines and fuel regulator under the intake plenum are plastic and begin to leak and literally pour fuel through the system. I just replaced both on my 1995 s10 and it runs like new again.
