Yes, tea tree oil is thought to be effective in the treatment of scabies. Try adding a couple tablespoons to some vegetable oil and applying that to your skin... It is wise to still go to the doctor and have it looked at though!

I don't know how much hormone is in the patch, but I assume it's more than the Nuvaring. This is really a question for your gynecologist, because he/she'd know more, but if the Nuvaring will work for you after the patch, then by all means do it. It worked for me for a bit, and it was easy and convenient. I highly recommend it.
