First of all, it's just "HyperCam 2", and yes. It is perfectly safe and does not harm your computer. But I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a relatively good internet connection, and your computer goes reasonably fast, also don't have a million things that are connected to the internet running at once or it WILL lag your computer, maybe to the point where it crashes.
