A contributor named Amanda Mangan contributed this suggestion on Simplicity.com: "I have a great method for making the casing for an elastic band without having to feed the elastic through the casing. On the wrong side of the fabric, stretch out the elastic around the place you want the casing, until the elastic ends meet. Make sure you leave the fabric allotment on top for the casing. Tightly pin down the elastic. Sew the elastic onto the fabric straight through the middle of the elastic. Just finish by folding the casing over the elastic and sewing in place."

Assuming the clothing is already designed and patterns are available, the most commonly required equipment for manufacturing clothing would be sewing machines, presses and cutting machines to cut the fabric.

Polyester fleece (polar fleece) is knitted. It is made in a similar way to sweatshirt material. Sweatshirt material has what is called a 'floating yarn' on one side (fleecy has these yarns on both sides), which is a yarn that only loops through the fabric infrequently so it creates loops. This side can be un-brushed (with one side like terry-towel) or it can be brushed (fuzzy on one side). This brushing technique is what makes polyester fleece so fuzzy.

well, the stitch selection is for if you want a zigzag stich for a zig zag line. you can chose what the pattern of your line will look like. If you want to make a bracelet with a cool look to it, i suggest you turn the dial to the one you like best. If the pattern it will make is not shown on the dial, you can look in the hand book if you got one. If not, just google your machines model and put stich dial at the end of the name.

Place the trace paper on top of the pattern you are trying to trace so the pattern shows through the trace paper. Then secure the paper to make sure it does not move with some tape and then trace with a pencil or pen.
