Can sharks last in unsalted water?
There are some sharks that can live in freshwater environments, but there aren't a lot that can cross over and live in both. The Bull shark is one that has been shown to have the ability to live in both saltwater and freshwater. Interestingly, they have to produce 20 times more urine when living in freshwater.

One way to see one is to throw out in the ocean, more than a Great White can handle. Hopfully you should start seeing some fins in an hour. i dont really know about your mos creatures, but i dont think you can really tame a shark... their nature is such that it would probably be difficult. however, if you flip a shark over onto its back they become quite docile.
