For the most part they are solitary. They do however congregate in areas where food (seals and whale carcasses especially) is plentiful. Improved answer: Great White Sharks' body temperatures vary, but the temperature is internally regulated. This makes them very different from typical "cold-blooded" animals like reptiles, amphibians, and most fish that rely solely on their environment and diet to regualte their body temperatures. For example, the temperature around a great white's brian is typically 25 degrees warmer than the surrounding temperatures. The sharks' large size, physical activity, and metabolism allow it to regulate such temperatures.
Yes the great white shark is cold blooded. Since it is considered to be a rather large fish and lives in water which tends to vary in temperature it's considered to be cold blooded. Since fish are exothermic, meaning noting or pertaining to a chemical change that is accompanied by a liberation of heat, many species are capable of surviving in large temperature variations (so long as they are not too rapid) a change that quick and drastic would quickly kill most mammals. Therefore although mammals are warm blooded, they are far less tolerant of changes in temperature that deviate too far from whatever their species ideal is.

Can a shark beat a killer whale?
Honestly, I don't think of "win" as a right word, I know what you mean. I don't really think a shark and a killer whale would attack each other, but even though sometimes killer whales could be larger, the might have advantages, but sharks have better strength. I don't know much about this, but you should probably look up more information online...

Both organisms have jaws, paired appendages, vertebrae, gills, fin, notochords, and a dorsal nerve tail that leads to a distinct brain.

The Great White shark is ranked first with attacks on humans. 31 attacks have come from Great Whites in 2 centuries. Each year, there are roughly over 100 shark attacks that have been reported, worldwide.
Surprisingly, human deaths from sharks are actually very rare. Only a handful of deaths occur each year. Great whites, tiger sharks and bull sharks have been known to attack people, viewing them as prey. Great whites, in particular, occasionally mistake surfers for seals, as they have a similar outline when viewed from below. Only oviparous sharks lay eggs, as most bony fish do.

- Several species of bull sharks, like the horn shark (Heterodontus francisci).
- The crested bullhead shark (Heterodontus galeatus).
- The australian swellshark (Cephaloscyllium laticeps).
- The zebra shark (Stegostoma fasciatum).
- The swellshark (Cephaloscyllium ventriosum).
- The striped catshark (Poroderma africanum).
(Most catshark species are oviparous.)
- The saddle carpetshark (Cirrhoscyllium japonicum).
(Also most carpetshark species are oviparous.)
However, the majority of sharks species are ovoviviparous.
