What year did Bridge Gun Co made the 20 gauge shotgun and what is its value?
Bridge Gun Co was a trade name used by Shapleigh Hardware of St Louis on guns made by a variety of manufacturers c. 1900-1945. Value will depend on the type of gun and condition, but it will not be high. Perhaps $75 for a single shot or as much as $200 for a double barrel in very good condition.
If a Victor Shotgun has Genuine Armory Steel stamped on the barrel what does this mean?
Genuine Armory Steel was a mark used by Crescent Firearms, 1893-1930, and also by Meriden Fire Arms, 1905-1915. The phrase doesn't really mean anything except that the barrels are not laminated steel.
If it was manufactured before 1969 it didn't need one and probably doesn't have one. If there is a serial number, it should be someplace visible without disassembling anything.
Go to diamondgunsmithing on the internet and enter your serial number. That will do it.
What is the value of a Charles Daly double barrel shotgun?
That would depend on condition, barrel length, whether or not it was imported by KBI ( tells age ), and most importantly what guage it is. The smaller guages are worth more. I paid $600 for my Miroku BC Charles Daly Model 500 20 Guage in good to excellant condition and would have possibly paid twice that if he had asked for it. I will add that if its an older German gun the value can get up there. The more info the better the answer.
What would a J Stevens double barrel model 345 be worth?
I just bought one for $200 from Gunbroker in good condition
What age range and value might a Stevens model 820 B savage arms corp chicopee falls mass have?

What is the value of a 20 ga model sb- 100b single shot Montgomery ward?
Greetings!
There are a few ways to get a solid estimation (note the word "estimation" on your gun value. Go to the web page www.gunsamerica.com and see if there is a similar gun there to compare it with. The second way is go to your local library and find a gun values book. They are like an encyclopedia of gun values and come out every year. You should find it there. NOTE: condition has EVERYTHING to do with gun values, so look in the front of the book to properly grade your gun. Gun values go up and down like the price of rice. Some guns hold their value well, others were very modest when made and have not imporved since then.

What is the approximate value of a Stevens double barrel 12 ga model 325?
Rare gun only made 2-4 years before 1907.I think that was last year made, saw one sell on gunbroker several years ago for 350-450 cant remember have not seen one since.
What is the age and worth of a sears roebuck model 1015350-D 3 clip bolt action shot gun?
This is a Sears-branded Savage/Stevens/Springfield model 58 which was made from 1933 to 45. Not a collectable and bolt action shotguns are not too popular, so I'd say a $100 price would produce a quick sale but a $150 tag would sit on the shelf for a long time.
A Sousa grade Ithaca should have engraving on almost every square inch of the metal. If you have no engraving, you have a field grade gun.
How do you find the value of an AJ Aubrey 12 gauge double barrel hammerless shotgun?
==AJ Aubrey Shotguns== This is a toughie. The Standard catalog says they sell from $100 to $1500 and you should get a professional appraisal before buying or selling one. AJ Aubrey doubles were made for Sears by their subsidiary company, Meriden Fire Arms, of Meriden, CT, from 1905-1915. They came in five grades. Even the field grade guns were a cut above a normal hardware store trade name. Most in well-used condition but still fully functional will probably fall in the $150-$250 range, but a field grade gun in NRA Excellent condition could bring a bit more. If the gun has engraving and appears to have higher quality wood, you may have one of the better grades, and in Excellent condition these could reach that $1500 mark. So, really if you don't have a "best" or at least "better" gun in high condition, a true professional appraisal may cost you nearly as much as the gun will bring at auction.
What year was your Burack Special double barrel shot gun made by whom and where?
trying to see who and where it was maked
What is a Browning leather looking gun case for a takedown 22 auto worth?
It depends. Does the handle have a white plastic insert in the middle of it? If so, you have a Hartman case. If it is a vinyl/leather handle you have a Airways case. Assuming it is of the Belgium Browning era case. Give me a call and I will try to help you further, 417-830-5588 or e-mail jrreeves@prodigy.net. I collect these.
What is the age and value of a 20 gauge Stevens Model 311A double barrel side by side shotgun?
I do have one,my dad used it when he was young. I have busted many birds&bunny's with this gun. it shoots very well, but exact age, value i do not know! my dad would be 77 yrs old 2008.
I too have one and it was given to me by my dad the gun was manufactured in 1957 the same year as my birth it would be 52 years old the new year but I haven't any idea of the value, but I have been offered 500.00 for mine
Stevens made millions upon millions of single, double & pump shotguns over the years. They were made cheaply & simply. Although the various gun auctions and gun boards are showing unwarranted high prices for these shotguns, most of the sales of the gun at unreasonable prices do not sell.
Stoeger & Mossberg make new shotguns that sell for $250 to $300. These are decent shotguns with none of the issues that the old Stevens shotguns have.
Many of the Stevens/Springfield/Savage/JCHiggins were made for Sears, JC Penneys, Western Auto and a dozen other retailers. They sold (new) for $75. to $125. The biggest problems with these guns was the stocks. They were made of a hardwood that almost invariably splintered, which made them undesirable when compared to other shotguns that were made of better wood and that were designed in such a manner as to not split.
My opinion is that a new Stevens if you could find one, other than the ones being made in South American today, would be worth anywhere from $100. to $200. (depending on condition). These guns were mass produced and are not worth what many owners think they are. There is a lot of hype about collecting this shotgun and I attribute it to the sheer number (millions) of them sitting around not being used. In other words, the hype is self serving and does not reflect the real value of these entry level shotguns. Just because the gun is old doesn't make it valuable.
What is the value of a fox 12 gauge model b shotgun?
The simple answer is....you need to provide more info on the gun in question. I own(ed) two Fox Model B shotguns. One was a 12 ga 28 inch barrells and double triggers. It is a great shooting bird gun in good condition. The second is a Fox Model B that is somewhat customized, with 24 inch barrells, double triggers, ramped double bead sights, excellent condition, upland bird gun and would probably be worth at least 5 times the value of the 28 inch gun. There is no way for me to place a $$ value with the info provided. The question could equate to "What is the value of a Corvette?" The answer is...it depends!!!
Where can you get parts for an American Gun Co 410 hammer double barrel?
Got a time machine? These guns were made by Crescent Fire Arms and the company has been out of business since being bought by Stevens/Savage in 1930. You might try Numrich at www.e-gunparts.com, and sometimes old parts can be found on ebay. A local gunsmith may have something in his miscellaneous parts bin that could be made to fit, and a good 'smith can manufacture many parts.
How much is an Essex 410 nickel platted engraved shotgun worth?
This was a trade name made for Belknap Hardware, and from the list of makers (Crescent, H&R, Stevens) it's unlikely to be a high quality gun, but I could be wrong. The plating and engraving were probably not factory original. If this is a double barrel, the usual quote is $150-$250, and for a single shot, $35-$75.
What is a single barrel shotgun marked Stevens Chicopee Falls April 1914 worth?
$35 to $75, depending on condition.
What is a used Charles Daly Maxi-Mag Field hunter 12 ga with factory turkey choke worth?
Well, if it's a Charles Daly that has been used then it's either broken or about to break. I'd say $75
What is the age of a 12 gauge J C Higgins Model 583.1 shotgun?
1945 Made by H&R for High Standard / Sears & roebuck
What is the value of a Sears Antonio Zoli Model 218.512651 superimposed shotgun?
I bought one in 2006 from a local gunshop that does allot of business. I paid $300.00 for one that had dings and scratches on the stock and the bluing showing its age. However the fit and function is wonderful, so much better than the current imports, that there is no comparison. I thought the $300.00 was cheap, but figured the gunshop guys new its worth. Since then, I too have been looking for prices of these shotguns and have been able to find no other sources of information.
What does the stamp HFUX on a Champion Iver Johnson Arms and Cycle Works shot gun stand for?
At one time, Iver Johnson serialized their firearms with letters. The scheme was using the word "Fitchburg" (where factory was located) F=1,I=2,T=3, etc. If my memory serves me correctly, the "X" stood for zero. HFUX=5170.
I also own one and I can assume since it was pre- "Savage" it has to be before 1920 wjhen J Stevens was purchased; I continue to look as I have taken a six digit number frm the steel section inside of the fore piece for reference...
