How can you become a singer in northern Ireland when we don't have any castings here?
Firstly, make sure you continue to work hard at school. Whether or not you achieve your aim you will need to know all sorts of things to avoid being exploited, and many of the routes you can follow will require qualifications.
Study music at school and take singing lessons if you can afford it. (Music and singing teachers know people). Join any performing arts based clubs, both inside and outside school. Try to find a stage school in your area, many of them have classes in the evenings and weekends and they put on shows where you can get experience. Look out for talent contests to enter, and get to know where singers appear. You could record yourself and put it on Youtube.
However, you are very young, and your first priority is to take care of yourself. Always have a parent with you when you meet people.
