There is a difference. You can do more writes to the regular sandisk pro duo than you can to the gaming pro duo. This is documented on Sandisk's web site. I'm not sure why people are posting misleading information about it these days, it was a known fact several years ago that the technology used in the gaming pro duo chip is different than the technology used in the regular pro duo chip.

There is a screw that hold in the frame for the sliding mechanism that tends to become loose and contact the mainboard.
