When was Korea founded?

It depends on what you consider to be the "founding of Korea".

If you are asking about the first sovereign states on the Korean peninsula, you are likely talking about the founding of the Kingdom of Gojoseon. Dangun Wanggeom, a mythical figure, is said to have founded Gojoseon in the 2300s B.C.E. We know for certain that the bronze-age civilization existed by the 7th century B.C.E. because we have confirmation of it in Chinese writings from those times.

If you are referring to the first sovereign state to control the entire Korean peninsula, this would be the Kingdom of Goryeo, which was founded in 918 C.E. and controlled the entire peninsula in 936 C.E. (In fact, the western term "Korea" derives from the mispronunciation of Goryeo by Western emissaries. Koreans call their homeland "Hanguk" or "Joseon".)

If you are referring to the two current sovereign Korean states of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK or North Korea) and the Republic of Korea (ROK or South Korea), these states were founded and declared independent in 1948 C.E. after three years of Soviet and US occupation respectively and a previous 35-year Japanese colonization.

well..... when japen go away in korea 1945. russia and US came to our land(korea). and take half. russia is north side, US is south side. and they promise that after 5 years, thay go away. and in 1950. US go to ther land. and russia too. but russia had trick. they gave ther tank and weapon. and in 8/26/1950 4AM. north korea came over to south korea for get all korea land. and 3 months later they take 85% of south korea lands. and UN think that when russia took all korea, asia is go to thar land, not japen.

so they help us 1951(sorry i don't no date). many contery came to korea. like 50 contery?? and we help eath other. and take 98% all korea. but china came to war. and we go back to line that on 1950(half and half) and we stop at 1953 summer.

Can Korea Be unified?

No. Both countries would LOVE to reunify. They have wanted to reunify for decades, but the North Koreans want Korea to be a communist country and the South Koreans, who live in a thriving capitalist...well, as close to a democracy as you're going to get in a country that has elected such pieces of work as Syngman Rhee, Chun Doo Hwan and Roe Tae Woo*, don't want to be communists. * Chun Doo Hwan was president of South Korea from 1981 to 1988. Roh Tae Woo was president from 1988 to 1993. Kim Young Sam became president in 1993, and his first act was to have Chun Doo Hwan and Roh Tae Woo thrown in jail.

In korea do unni get treated better than dongsaeng?

kinda yes, actually dongsaengs respect their unni because they are older, so they get treated as that .

you use formal speak with them, you can't disrespect them , you cant raise your voice at them (if you was the dongsaeng)

take me for example my unni can hit me, say pabo to me ,use informal speak with me but i still respect her .....
and if they do it its dosen`t mean that the unnis are bullying ... it means that the dongsaengs respect them and they are polite

so i guess yeah unnis does get treated better than dongsaeng

but unnis dose care about there dongsaengs treated them like there real little sisters and mostly unnis buy them food and other stuff sometime
