Space Aliens

The existence of life beyond earth is strictly theoretical. Whether you consider them friendly visitors, aggressive invaders, or just characters in a science fiction novel or film, ask your questions about our space neighbors here.

Do aliens have green nipples?

aliens do exist somwhere in the galaxy Im sure there real. I mean we havent gone far enough in space. We may never see one therefore There is no answer for now. I think they Do not.

Why aren't aliens real?

There are aliens out there. See the related link.

That is a very important question.

There are billions of stars in the galaxy (and billions more galaxies) and many of them have planets. Surely we should be seeing aliens everywhere? Why is it that we cannot find any evidence of life on other planets?

There are a number of possible explanations.

1. We are alone.

This seems highly unlikely. Why should the Earth alone produce life? Could life arising be so spectacularly unlikely that only one planet of billions has any?

2. Other civilisations are invisible to our detection

The way we detect alien life is to listen for their radio broadcasts. Currently we produce radiowaves in all directions for our TV and radios and we think aliens will do the same, so we look out for these TV signals from space. However what if they don't use radio waves? Maybe they use something else or nothing at all? Or concentrate their radio waves to where they have to go instead of broadcasting into space?

3. We are the first of many

This is the idea that we are the only beings in the universe capable of civilization for now. The idea is that in the future alien civilisations will arise but at the moment we are the only ones.

This is possible because the universe is still quite young. (About 15 billion years old). Life (we assume) needs a planet to be on, planets form from heavy elements. Heavy elements are very rare in space. Heavy elements are manufacture inside stars, the star has to die before the elements are released. Hence at least one star-generation must occur before planets can form. Perhaps the Earth is the first planet capable of supporting life ever.

(I'm rather like this idea, even though it seems so unlikely)

4. Civilisation is too short-lived.

This is the idea that civilisations only last a few hundred years before blowing themselves up. That means there would only be a small window when the civilization is broadcasting before it ends.

I find this view overly-pessimistic (we don't actually have any evidence of planet-wide civilisations totally destroying themselves)

5. Few and far between,

Say that life only arises once of twice in any galaxy. How could we find it? They would be so far away that their radio signals might not even have reached us yet.

6. Time perception disagreements

This is a long shot: Suppose that an alien's sense of the passing of time is completely different to ours. They might send us a signal which to them is a very distinct pulse of radio waves but to us is confused with the brightening of a star by 1% over a year.

Do aliens want to kill us?

There are no aliens actually known to exist, just tall tales started by pranksters and those who make a quick buck off people who don't know any better. They always claim the dog ate their evidence or the US Government swiped it. The USG is boss of 6% of the world. It would be ridiculous to assume the US is the only place they would ever crash!

----------------------------------------

probably not as this could have been done a long time ago. Most people theorize that they need either elements here on earth that have ran out/don't exist on their planet and we in turn allow them to help themselves to these minerals and also turn a blind eye to abductions they carry out .we in turn have apparently got an flying saucer in area 51 to back engineer (which surely should be done by now!)

----------------------------------------

It depends. If they think that we are a threat to them, they want our planet or resources, or if they just enjoy killing, then probably yes.

There is no form of mineral, including hydrocarbons, that is not available in quantity, simply floating around the solar system. There can't be; where do you think the minerals on Earth came from? Why come to Earth for stuff you can find floating around for free?

man i just need to know i know that some people say in 2012 aliens will come to destroy earth that's rong and we will still live in 2012 because last time somewere in the 1900`s they said we are doomed but i just need to know why scientist are concerned about things like this.

Real scientists are *not* concerned about 2012; they are bright enough to know if a planet were close enough to clobber us in 2012, it would be close enough to see, and its gravity would also distort the orbits of other planets. Neither is happening; the 2012 hoopla is just a way for bright people to get yucks and bucks from less-bright people. Kinda like the "Apollo was a hoax" 'tards. Anyone who knows anything knows Apollo was real and the evidence otherwise is faked ("wires", stagehands, falling light fixtures, rocks with letters added post-1990, etc.). Some people find it fun to make fun of the less educated by teaching them things that simply are not true.

How long can aliens live for?

The evidence is strong they have a longer lifespan than normal humans- unconfirmed reports of an autopsy on a dead female ( UFOTRIX) in Russia, this happened in l996, led researchers to believe she came from a planet 200 light years from Earth/and the design of her brain suggested she came into being in earth year l796. So her planet had space travel in the time of Catherine the Great! Naturally deceased Lady Alien was nicknamed Catherine. it is sad there is not more international co-operation on cases of this sort.

How do aliens abduct people?

There is no sound evidence that aliens exist let alone visit our planet, aliens are the stuff of myth, science fiction and conspiracy theories.

If what you say is true how come there have been spottings of Aliens on earth. We can only see a bit of space there is much more out there and there is chance of aliens being out there but why they visit earth i dont know.

What if the so-called aliens were actually here before humans were? What if we are just an interesting experiment they started? How did we go from using stone age tools to erecting pyramids overnight? We can hardly do that even today. We might actually be the true aliens. Do the math... There are billions of galaxies, some with as many as a trillion stars in them. Our galaxy, The Milky Way is a rather normal galaxy with just about two hundred billion stars. There must be cultures that have existed for far longer than ours even in our own galaxy. Space and time can probably be bent, problem is our human brains don't have the power to comprehend how it is done. Perhaps we need to evolve for another million years or so to understand.

What I would find truly amazing and scary is if we were alone in the universe or even in our own galaxy. What are the odds of that happening when you have about two hundred billion stars nearby?

Are aliens red or green?

If this question means "Why are space aliens typically pictured as green?" there are probably three reasons. These reasons are guesswork, but they are somewhat educated guesses.

  1. No one has ever seen creatures from outer space. At this point in earth's history they are imaginary. Green is a really, really alien color for skin. So in early space fantasies and science fiction stories, one way to make them appear extremely different from us was to imagine them as having a completely nonhuman color. Also the association with creatures that are green--reptiles and amphibians--adds to the alienness.
  2. If you stick to nonhuman colors for skin, you can stay completely away from any racial associations or symbolism, in much the same way that Sesame Street has a lot of blue guys and other toy colors for people.
  3. Once "little green men" became a cliche for Martians, the cliche kept repeating itself. In cartoons, all you have to do is show little green guys with some kind of weird things around their heads or faces, and the audience knows you mean space aliens. It's an easy kind of shorthand for humorous purposes.

Of course, "alien" can just mean a foreigner and not necessarily an extraterrestrial. Foreigners are not green.

Are aliens really demons?

that really depends on your religion, aliens are known scientifically as extra-terrestrials which means that everything within our atmosphere is terrestrial and all outside of it is terrestrial to it's location. if an alien were to come to earth it would be from 2 planets making it extra-terrestrial. now the point of that is to explain the difference between aliens and religious demons

Where can find the aliens?

Possibly when the government will let us know or their will be many aliens coming to earth so the government can not hide it from us anymore. so if that happens later on they will be seen a lot and it would not be a big deal.

Can a illegal alien get a state id card?

Yes they can. You will need to show resident card at DMV though.

What are the 4 types of alien?

(Reality)

1) Fictional

2) Imaginary

3) Fraudulent

4) Mistaken

(Fakery)

1) Sighting-- aliens, pink elephants, Elvis, etc.

2) Evidence-- Since anecdotes never become evidence, even in vast numbers, there is none.

3) Contact-- none known and proven to have occurred. The White House lawn is not that hard to find, so if there are aliens attempting contact, they are completely incompetent.

3) Abduction-- Also, none. To date, no one claiming abduction has sworn out a warrant for these person or persons unknown. Coincidentally, lying to the FBI is a good way to get sent to the pokey. One might logically conclude the "witnesses" know they are lying.

_______________________________________________________

Or, on the less scrupulously skeptical side, see below:

----------------------------------

1) Sighting- An encounter with a UFO

2) Evidence- Where you can find clues that an alien/UFO has been to a place. Example: Crop Circles

3) Contact- When you meet an alien face to face or see them from afar.

3) Abduction- Is when some one is temporarily, or permanently, captured by an extraterrestrial being

Who had the first idea of God?

The Concept of God It is impossible to answer who first had the idea that God (or gods) exist. What is certain is that concepts of a supreme being existed before the written language. Examples of apparently supreme beings can be seen in cave drawings; also, when Europeans travelled to the places without written languages such as the Amazon and central Africa, they found people who believed in God/gods/spirits. Thousands of years ago, people did not have a scientific explanation for such things as why rain falls, what keeps the sun in the sky or why earthquakes occur. It would have been a logical conclusion that a supernatural force was responsible. The Idea of God As to the idea of what this God (or gods) is like, people would have formed understandings according to how they experienced the world e.g. if the rains fell on the crops then the supreme being was benevolent; if the rains failed then the supreme being was annoyed for some reason. With the advent of the monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism) a change took place in the understanding of God; these groups maintain that God has revealed key aspects of the Divine character (e.g. mercy, love) that could not have been reasoned through observation of the world or universe. This brought about a development in the idea people held of God. Related links: http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God

How did aliens get here?

As far back as cave-dwelling humans, we have always wondered about other life forms on other planets. And if artwork is accurate, humans have been looking to the sky hoping to see other beings. UFO's were not so much discovered as they were just always there.

Do you put the alien in the fridge?

yes to make it have babys but first you rub there strips together

How do you defend yourself from aliens?

It depends entirely on the method of attack employed by said aliens. Probably the best defense is to prepared for military incursions, chemical and biological warfare, and an inquisitive mind that is willing to reevaluate strategies and methods that the aliens have used during the conflict.

Of course, this requires that said aliens are violent and aggressive. It could be entirely possible that said aliens are friendly and it would be unecessary to defend yourself from them.

How would aliens attack earth?

If aliens attacked with a full scale invasion Earth would probably be overwhelmed within hours. Depending on what they want or what drives them to invade Earth they may do a number of things. If they want slaves they'd probably take out all of our communications, systematically wipe out our military and then round up civilians. If they just want our resources they'd probably use some sort of virus or nanobots o specifically wipe out humans.

Are angels aliens?

no

well in the video "ancient aliens" they talk about angels or biblical creatures being considered aliens..... and if you think about it, aliens don't have to be green and have big heads as explained by Stephen hawkings in "into the universe" angels are not from earth so they are technicaly aliens.... and for all we know the could be from another planet

so yes they are....

Do some alien races have brown skin?

Where do aliens live on earth?

Aliens, as a generic term, are considered to be anything that is not of terrestrial origin. Therefore, with the correct equipment, they may live on any planet. That is assuming that they exist.

What do the aliens want?

There are many potential answers offered by many people.

Common answers include:
* they want to hybridize with humans and thereby extend their scope, and possibly extend their diminishing biological capacity
* they want to feed off human energies (such as emotion)
* they want to help humans develop and eventually join the many other species that, presumably, are active in our galaxy (and perhaps beyond)
* they (the aliens) are not extraterrestrials but are a plot by some covert human group that is using advanced technologies to intentionally simulate alien abduction in an effort to strike fear into humans and thereby bring about popular support for some military force
* they want the natural resources of Earth
* they see the Earth as a zoo and don't want humans to destroy it
