No the common spider mite does not bite humans. It does not have the mouth parts for it. It is designed to suck sap out of the leaf of plants. It isn't a threat to humans or to your belongings or home, other than your plants.

None. A bug is a classification of certain insects. and well, an insect is not an arachnid.
Due to the cold long winters most spiders don't survive but the ones that do aren't poisonous. The most common spider I have seen is the Big-Daddy-Long-Legs which are the genital giants among Alaskan spiders and no where near as scary or big as some in the lower 48's. The further north you go in Alaska the fewer spiders. We are also free of ticks. I wish I could say the same about misquotes but most misquotes here don't carry any diseases.
Do vets have to work with spiders?
