From what i understand, my Dr. has informed me that soboxin can stay in a persons system up to ten days depending on the dosage a person takes and how long you have been taking it. I have personally been on soboxin since July 2008. Dosage varies from person to person. My original opiate was methadone and percocet for several months. Soboxin has totally helped be opiate free. In the next few months I would like to get off soboxin also because it is costly if you dont have insurance. Also, it is an opiate base drug, used for chronic useres of opiates. No. The suboxone will stop the morphine from working, and you will not get high.

Also, if you are physically addicted to morphine and take suboxone (with a needle or even under the tongue), it will cause you to go into immediate withdrawl. This is one reason why suboxone is used to treat individuals who have been addicted to morphine and other opiates.

Also, combining morphine and suboxone increases the chance of respiratory depression (a decreased rate of breathing). If respiratory depression is severe enough it can cause death. Read all about suboxone at www.subutex.info

There are two ways to interpret this question. One is, what is the herbal chemical equivalent, and one, more general, what herbs can help, relax, tranqulize like Valium.

First off a minor tranquilizer relaxes by relaxing the muscles. In other words it helps ease up tense muscles. That being said, there are different categories of herbals that can relax. There are calmatives. These botanical are calming hence the name. There are nervines. These strengthen the nerves. Another category is antispasmodic. While these arn't exactly relaxing herbs they help calm cramping. In this way they help with stomach distress and thereby they are helpful in dealing with physical stress. Finally there are relaxants. Medicinal plants that are most helpful in making people feel relaxed. Scullcap, Wood Betony, Passionflower and Valarian are excellent relaxing herbs for most people.

Some herbs, including chamomile, sage, lemon balm, and holy basil, are also relaxing, but have markedly milder or weaker effects than valium, and accordingly, are much safer.

yes suboxone will get you high after you have been completly opiate for a while, in prison it was our druf of choice they were 50 a strip and 1 8th of a strip would have you noddin but if you have a dope habit and use subone you will feel nothing

it does not show up on a reg five or ten panel test. the test specifically had to be for bupenorphine. the drug in suboxone and subutex. which is very un common. ive been on suboxone for a yr and a half and taken drug test for legal reasons and the only person that has a test for it is my dr that prescribes it to make sure im still takin it. but that's all. ive seen in super rare cases is may give a false positive for opiates but that's happened to me once. hope this helps

Well, face value is 10$. it can be higher in certain cases, but typically it starts as 10, and as time goes on you end up selling them for 5$. usually because the side effects are so awful, the actual interpersonal value of the chemical is always decreasing.

Are you referring to getting it out of your system so you can pass a urine toxicology test? In which care there usually isn't much to worry about. Buprenorphine can only be detected with a specialized test for Bupe, it doesn't show as a typical opiate.

If your hoping to expedite the process of having the Sub wear off so you can do an opiate again then no there's no way, you just have to wait until the Bupe wears off and detaches from your opiate receptors.

if your worried about probation or parole drug tests. suboxone will show up as an opiate. the only one you can pass the test, is if your on methadone. that o.k. for prob and parole tests.

^ that's not true. suboxone does not show up as a opiate. i am on house arrest and yes they do drug test me for suboxone. i have been going to the sub doctor for 2 1/2 years. misdametor probation does not test u for suboxone but my house arrest officer does. go to medtech.com and it will show you the test with suboxone (bueprenorphine) and all the other test with it.

Do not listen to him suboxine tests can be bought online for as little as a dollar seventy five and methadone is standard for all 10 and 12 panel test I have even seen them on six panel tests. You sure can, but I would suggest you don't try to quit both tobacco use and an opiate addiction at the same time. Start with one or the other and slowly transition to taking both medications once you have made some progress and gained some confidence. Both addictions can be a nasty thing to overcome so please make sure you are approaching the situation realistically and practically.

Suboxone is a combination product containing buprenorphine and naloxone. Buprenorphine is an opiate agonist meaning it resembles codein and morphine, etc. but does not produce the high that those drugs would. Naloxone is an opiate antagonist meaning it blocks those receptors from allowing you to have a high. Naloxone is in the combination to prevent patients from injecting suboxone since when injected, naloxone causes the patient to express extreme withdrawal effects. The key is, though, that when taken appropriately under the tongue, naloxone will not interfere with buprenorphine. Buprenorphine can then allow the addict to satisfy an urge without worsening the problem by causing as much addiction as something like morphine would. Essentially you get a fix of opiate, but it easier to be weened off of.

No it will not. On your standard urine text the buprenorphine nor the naloxone witch make up the suboxone will not.register for any of the drugs they test for. If it is a test they are sending out to a lab it will show up but they usually have to be looking for it .. it will not show up as a opiate tho

No way, Not a chance. Wait at least 72 hours after taking your last suboxone before you take any opiates\opioids, otherwise you could go into a bad withdrawl from the naloxone in suboxone, or more common, you will just waste the morphine, it will have ZERO effect so dont even bother.

No Suboxone will not block the use of opiates on a drug test. It will still show up, but you won't get the feeling from the opiates. You will however get into trouble if you are being prescribed Suboxone.

That depends on whether you are taking the morphine recreationally (to get high), or if you are taking it for pain.

If you are taking it to get high, then no, it won't work. You will have to wait at least 36 hours, but probably more like 48 to 72 hours, until the Suboxone is out of your system, before you can feel the effects of the morphine.

If you are taking it for pain, then yes, it should still work as a painkiller, even though it won't get you high.

I am heroin addicted that is actually quitting. I started yesterday, this will be my 5th time,, because I didn't have a choice those times. I am so ready, and I hope you are too, now with suboxone, take an 8 milligram and then and then, take 4 milligrams 12 hours later, but people usually start by for the first like 3 days taking the 8 milligram strip and then start reducing and tapering down from 8 to 4 then cut it again, and it will be about 2 mg and that should be good after a few days of doing that, I mean you're not going to feel too great after the taper, but it's a great thing you're doing. What state do you live in? Here where I live, in Portland Oregon they have so many places that help get you on the suboxin and then off of it within a week or two it depends on the person. Neither of these drugs are tested for in a standard 5 panel drug test. However they can be tested for if your p.o suspects that you are using drugs and has you take an expanded drug test

on regular 5 panel drug test it doesn't show up. those are the drug tests that most places (probation, drug treatment places) use the other tests are very expensive and they don't use them. I'm not sure if it even shows up on one of the other tests. I've been on suboxene for awhile now and taken alot of drug tests and it doesn't show up.

Yes, Suboxone, Prestiq, and Abilify can safely be taken together. Suboxone AKA buprenorphine is used as a maintenance medication for opiate addiction. Prestiq is an antidepressant that works differently than SSRI's. Prestiq blocks two main chemicals in the brain one of which is serotonin. Lastly, Abilify in the beginning was used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. In recent test Abilify has been shown to work very well with other antidepressants namely Prestiq.

It depends on the death. There are types of death that can cause or are caused by vomiting.

I've taken 4 drug tests while on suboxone, and it has never come up.

These tests included: pre-empoyment drug screen, DUI blood screen, and 2 urine tests for my job.

Suboxone has NEVER come up. Drink water, but be safe. Too much water can kill you.

Suboxone does not show up on drug tests (see the Related Question below), so, it shouldn't be an issue. They'd have to specifically test for it, which, according to what I've heard from my doctor, and from the Related Question, is extremely rare. It does not show up as an opiate on drug tests.

But even if they did specifically test for it, you aren't doing anything illegal if a doctor is prescribing it for you.
