Is squidwards suicide real?

I know that I'm late for this, but I'm going to so say this anyway. There are a few reasons in how "Squidward's Súícide/ Red Mist" is not real.

  1. The clips used for the videos are from the actual show, but edited. Nickelodeon would probably claim the video since of YouTube's Content ID system. This can be said with YouTube Poops/YTPs of Spongebob, as Viacom took down many videos in the past.

  2. The Creepypasta said that had children that were mangled with their intestines exposed. And stuff like that wouldn't be allowed on a kids network.

  3. The creator behind the creepypasta said that it's fake. According to a post on Reddit, The creator read creepypastas like Suicide Mouse and Dead Bart.

So I hope that is enough evidence to tell you guys that Squidward's Súícide is not real. If you're interested in asking me more questions about eerie things, feel free to ask!

What would you do if someone you known Committed Suicide?

.

We cannot know the final disposition for anyone's soul before God. All we can do is trust in the mercy of God and pray for that person. There have been a few revelations to people of persons who committed suicide, in the two that I can think of, one was a young girl who appeared to her friend who had been praying for her, she told her to not pray for her as she was in hell. The other was Our Blessed Lady revealing to a mother that her son had repented with his dying breath and would be in purgatory for the rest of the time so he was in desperate need of prayers. We should commend these souls to God and pray for their release from purgatory. All prayers offered for the dead are used by God. If the person has no need of our prayers, then God uses them for someone who does need our prayers. Prayers for the dead are never "wasted."

Is suicide ever a good option?

It may seem so and it may be really tempting but the truth is, suicide is a final act. After you commit suicide, you have no chance to fix whatever was bothering you in this lifetime. Remember that your pain is temporary pain.

Suicide for you is never a good option for your family, and you will negatively impact them if you decide to take your own life.

Hes right, dont think about yourself think about all the ones who love you, you cant screw them over by ending something a precious as life. Get away from whats bothering you if you can, if not seek help , not necessarily from a doctor. But from a loved one, remember you cant fix it after its done. Ive thought about it, almost attempted it, but i realized that there's so many more beautiful things in the world, life is short enough it Will get better.

Why would a teen commit suicide?

In many cases they feel it is the only way out. In other words they could be feeling pressure from family or friends about school, their choices, anything really. And they do not want to disappoint anyone anymore. That is the most common cause. But it could also be caused from abuse, or childhood abuse. Another main reason would be because of a mental illness caused from anything, but especially others, like bullying or even peer pressure. There are many reasons, these were only the most common that I know of but it could be anything really so if someone is talking about suicide you should always let them know you are there for them so they know they are not alone in this rough time.

* One reason that could be part of the overall picture of a teen who attempts, or committs suicide is that adolescence is a time of great turmoil. Physically, the body is going through enormous changes such as puberty, the onset of menses in young girls, and hormonal shifts and changes that are both exhilerating, and confusing. An adolescent wants their freedom from their parents, and this occurs out in nature as well as in the human condition, but they are usually not "quite ready to fly away".

During this tumultuous period of time, impulsive actions are unfortunately the consequence of many teen related suicides, but many other unfortunate outcomes also- such as drunk driving, overdoses, breaking the law, and of course having something happen to the young person can occur as well. (rape, assault, etc) due (only in PART, as nobody deserves to be assaulted!) by unhealthy choices such as staying out past curfew, consuming too much alcohol which renders the teenager unable to make even the most basic healthy choice. This is a great subject because suicide awarness has FINALLY come out as a regular topic of conversation- and is no longer stigmatized to the degree that it used to be- and this has resulted in many teens getting the help and support they need far before they get to the deperation of feeling there is "no other choice".

Teenagers also notoriously are self involved, and rarely understand what the consequences of their actions will do to those who love them.

They see the ending of their life as "a good thing" because their self esteem is at a point where they feel they won't be missed-and they often rationalize that their loved ones will ultimately be "better off" with their dmise.

What does a suicide safety switch mean?

a device to shut down an important power or other component in a dire emergency. I have heard this term applied to the emergency brake on a bus, and have never seen this device used. it could also apply to emergency shut-down devices at power plants, engine control rooms and the like where a sudden shut-down would indeed have dire consequences. In the power house service, the term (Scram) is often used instead of say panic button- ( scram that transformer- its leaking coolant- in other words shut it down pronto!) The Scram device on, say a transformer, puts on all the safety devices at once!

How do I tell my teacher I'm suicidal?

I am sorry you are going through this. I found someone on yahoo answers. I want her to see this too. Her name is Lana. I am happy that the two of you want to get help.

I think you need to set up a private meeting with your teacher (ex. after school) and explain what is happening. Tell him or her that you need someone to talk to and that you feel like you can trust him or her. I am proud of you and Lana that you are both are trying to reach out to someone. Well done.

What to do if you are considering suicide?

If you are seriously thinking about this, First, ask yourself why? Second, even though you may be experiencing a horrible time in your life at the moment or however long you have, think about your loved ones or your family members. They may or may not show that they love you or tell you otherwise. When really they all do. I mean, bad things happen but it eventually blows over and gets better. I recommend that you talk to someone about it. Someone you can trust, and who can keep you thinking positive. And lastly, you may have thoughts thinking whats the point of living, or I have no purpose here anyway. Well everyone has a purpose whether you guys realize it or not. Just try and stay positive. Just keep saying to yourself,"Everything's going to be okay.." That's what I do. What I do to stay positive is talk with my wonderful spouse. Or if you are into music, try and listen to some positive music that will make you feel better. Or take a jog outside or something to distract my negative thoughts and sadness. Just don't give up on yourself, and try to get help. My quote I made up is," Positive Vibes, is what keeping me and the world alive."

Think about all the things in the future you may miss. You could miss a chance to meet a celebrity you like, read a book that inspires you, find that you have a talent. This may sound stupid but it's true. Just think.

How does sleeping pill overdose work?

Why do so many young people kill themselves?

Despair is perhaps the number one reason for suicide, that is the "no other way out" perspective. The second is perhaps what can be described the "no end in sight" point of view. Life can take only so much pain. This threshold is different for every person. Combine that with the lesser experience of youth, the pressure to succeed, heightened media presence and biased coverage in lieu of responsible reporting, and the increasing gap in interpersonal relationships, and a perfect storm develops.

Truthfully, the rate of suicide hasn't increased as much as heightened reporting might make it appear. In recent years, the DOD reported that suicide rates among veterans is about 30 per 100,000. This is not a new statistic, and is slightly lower than what I tracked for III Corp in the 1980's. It is important to note that the veterans tracked are typically those DEROSed within one year, those in the age range of 20-26 predominantly.

Can hanging yourself by the feet kill you?

Logic says yes. The length of time depends on the strength of the heart muscle which was not made to pump uphill. As it weakens the blood would drain to your head causing great pain and stoppage of the heart. I am not an expert just applying some physics to the problem.

How does the Mormon church view suicide?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) takes a sympathetic approach to mental illness and suicide, and has recently begun a campaign to support individuals and families affected by such things. The Church teaches that taking your own life is generally wrong, but that a person who commits suicide may not be responsible for their actions. The Church teaches that only God can judge the individual because He knows their genetic and chemical makeup as well as their individual circumstances. If you'd like to learn more about the Church's view and teachings on suicide, please see https://www.lds.org/topics/suicide?lang=eng.

NO, in MANY cases as time goes on those issues may subcide or alter so that suicide is wasteful. Suicide is one on the ultimate expressions of anger toward those who love YOU. Not the other way around. Once you're gone those who don't like you will forget you, while those known to you or not yet known will never have a chance to express their feelings.

Will 1680 mg of Prozac kill you?

Highly unlikely. The LD50 (Lethal DOse 50%) for Prozac is 425mg/kg, so if you weigh 8.8lbs (or 4kg), you have a 50% chance of mortality.

This is not to say that such a dose is safe -- it isn't. It's just not lethal. Please be careful, and be aware that overdosing on any med -- even a "safe" one -- may cause weird, unpleasant, dangerous results.

Should you tell your therapist you had thoughts of suicide and cutting but aren't having those thoughts now if you're in therapy for same reason and lied the first time asked about suicidal thoughts?

My opinion would be to tell the therapist the truth. You, or your insurance company is paying good money for the therapy. In order for you to get the help you need out of the therapy, you should be honest with your therapist. If you lie about any aspect of it, you are sabotaging your own results, and wasting your own time in therapy.

If you do not trust this therapist enough to tell him the truth, then you really should request a different therapist. Therapy requires trust, so you need a Therapist that you trust enough to be honest with. If your only concern is that you have already lied, I'm sure the therapist has been lied to before, and will understand your reasons for lying.

They might even consider your new found honesty a "breakthrough" and congratulate you for it.

Is it normal to think about suicide?

== == It depends what "think about" means. Are you thinking about doing it, or are you thinking about the topic of suicide for a school report? ... or what?

My guess is, if you are asking the question, you might have your question better answered by a professional counselor. Of you don't know one to speak to, then any medical clinic can advise you and direct you to speak to the right person.

If it's critical, any hospital emergency room would help too.

All information is held in the strictest confidence.

== == == ==

Generally no, it isn't normal to think about suicide. But if you are thinking about commiting suicide, don't do it. Think of all the good times in your life. Next think about how your parents would feel. And then consider your friends and family members. Wouldn't you like to watch your little sister grow up and say she wants to be like you. If you think about suicide, think about the good things in life and forget about suicide. == == == == yes it is perfectly normal

everyone wonders what it would be like if they didnt exist at some point in their life

what it will be like to die and not exist

especially when you are going through really hard and upsetting times and or have depression

if you feel like this or someone you know feels like this

talking to someone helps a lot

getting all your issues, worries problems and thoughts out

having someone elses opinion on them and on life and on what you can do

when your serotonin drops,

which is what happens when people get depressed,

suicidal thoughts are common

depression can be treated with medication, its easy to treat when you find the medicine that works for you,

this is a physical problem too and NOT simply just a mental or emotional problem,

the persons serotonin has been reduced and it needs medication to help them feel better by increasing the serotonin back in the brain.

so dont assume that you can somehow coax them into feeling better or doing anything, this is not something you can do and its not something they can control or 'fix'

if there are problems in your life that you cant deal with at the moment again talking to someone, ask for their help, having other peoples perspective and knowledge will always benefit you

times get tough in life, its not going to be easy when you have serious problems going on, but we all go through them

ive had my fair share, including depression and suicidal thoughts which tend to make every problem you have feel one hundred times worse

sometimes these the problems you are going through wont get better and you have to just go through them, its tough, but you can do it, we all do, we all have to

the most important thing to do is to get some help, ask for help, tell someone how you feel and tell someone else if they cant help

you need help with this, it wont get better on its own and you wont feel better by yourself

Additional Response Yes. It is normal to think of suicide, but as mentioned above, when thoughts become obsessive, seek help. When one is depressed and suicidal, thoughts may not be accurate or realistic about those around them. Love could be pouring over the person like thick syrup, but if one is thinking of suicide, he/she may not see himself/herself as lovable and may view himself/herself only as a burden and disappointment to those they love and who love him/her (when the opposite is actually the reality). Seek help immediately. Individuals such as those mentioned here should not be blamed or deemed "selfish" because their perceptions are distorted. Imagine the pain and suffering of someone who genuinely feels they only bring pain, suffering, and disappointment to the world and those they love. Unfortunately, they are unaware that the opposite may actually be more of a reality. Many of these individuals are loved infinitely and beyond description and are missed more than words can describe. Please remember; however, that if someone takes their own life while you live with it, you most definitely did all you could do. It is a different frame of mind, thinking. No matter what your efforts, you most likely could not prove your love; you probably could not save them. Do not blame yourself. If you are depressed and thinking of suicide, please take heed to these words, your life is valuable whether you believe it or not, and most certainly you are loved and needed more than you realize!

What if you want to commit suicide?

I'm assuming you think you want to commit suicide after reading this question. The answer to your question is go and get help from a doctor, to you the idea might scare you, maybe you fear the consequence of approaching a doctor and telling them how you feel, it might seem dramatic but don't worry and don't feel dramatic they are there to help, it's worth a try.

At times like this you might feel like things might not get better but if you hang on things will get better, think of all of the people who could have commited suicide but have pulled through and gone on to live good lives. You only know for certain that you get one life, don't throw it away. You don't have to live this way there is help available.

Is cutting a sure way to commit suicide?

It is not. There is no sure way to commit suicide, but cutting is less sure than other methods.
