How do you replace the spark plugs on 2002 Suzuki XL7?

First you must remove the plastic covers off both sides of the head of the motor, if i remember correctly there are 4 Philips screws for each cover. Then you must lossen the screws that are holding the 6 coil pack in(do not recall if it was screws or bolts),you should probably spray some silicone lubricant generously to aid with the removal of the coil packs as they tend to stick a bit in the shaft to to sparkplug.you should now do one coil pack/sparkplug at a time.Just be gentle with the coil packs do not strike them under any circumstances, just work them loose with some wiggling and silicone lube(they are pricey to replace).you may have to cut some of the tywraps or even remove the wiring harness,to get your rachet into the sparkplug shaft and remove the plug(be sure not to let any debris/dirt fall in the spark plug shaft.Oh and apply a little anti-seize paste to the threaded part of your sparkplug (not on the electrode tip)before installation it will be easier next time you change them to remove.Be careful not to cross thread the plugs, continue till all six have been replaced ,screw your coilpacks back in add a tywrap or two,put back your plastic head covers and you are done.Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is the Power light on dashboard of 2001 Suzuki XL?

Near the shifter there is a power/normal button ,if the light on the dash is on ,you must have put it in power mode. The power mode raises your shift points into a higher rpm range,it is used mostly if you are towing something heavy or if you need to accelerate a bit more aggressively. Also if you are in power mode and you put the shifter into second gear you will start off in second ,in normal mode you will start in first then shift to second ,this is usefull if you get stuck on slippery sufaces.
