Are grades such as A B C interval data?

Grades such as A, B, and C are not considered interval data; they are typically classified as ordinal data. This is because grades represent a ranked order (A is better than B, which is better than C) but do not have a consistent numerical difference between them. For example, the difference in performance between an A and a B may not be the same as between a B and a C. Interval data, on the other hand, must have equal intervals between values and a meaningful zero point, which grades do not possess.

What type of supplies does a tenor saxophone need?

Saxophones require swabs - I use a big one for the body, a small one for the neck, and a silk cloth for the mouthpiece. Use these to clean the water out of the instrument after it's played, every time.

You should lubricate the cork at the top of the body where the neck goes on with cork grease every now and then.

Reeds. I have a supply of several stiffnesses, and also carry a couple of plastic-coated reeds just in case. I also carry several different brands. I seem to always come back to Ricos or LaVoz reeds, though. If you are a pro, then you will probably use higher quality reeds. But if you are a pro, you already know that.

Some people like to use a reed trimmer to fine-tune the thin edge of the reed.

Light oil to lube all the various moving parts. Apply the oil with a very fine-tipped little bottle. If you cannot find them at the music store, look in a hobby store that carries model train sets.

Use a clean, soft cotton or silk cloth to thoroughly wipe down the outside of the sax every time after you play it.

I like to use tone key pad papers to clean the keypads every couple of weeks. A lot of players use a folded in half dollar bill, but the papers have a super-fine powder to help keep the pads from sticking to the tone holes.

Get a small supply of clothespins or bulldog clips to hold music sheets to your stand if you play outdoors.

What happened to Corbett Wall the jazz alto sax player after he left Taiwan?

After his extensive music career in Taiwan and Japan, he also ran a popular music club called the Living Room, one of the first places for experimental theater, comedy, and acts playing original music. He created a group called Beauty 4 which were a major act on EMI, and he became involved in telecom and new media technology, spending a lot of time in China. The last I heard (2007) he was involved with retail property development in China. I don't know if he still continues to make music.

What is the property of if a b then a-c b-c?

Unfortunately, limitations of the browser used by Answers.com means that we cannot see most symbols. If your question is not answered, please resubmit it, spelling out the symbols as "plus", "minus", "equals" etc. Also use ^ to indicate powers (x^2) or x-squared.

In this case, you probably typed something like, "If a>b, then a-c > b-c". This would be called the subtraction property of inequality, and is one of the rules used to solve inequalities.

Why is viola music written in alto clef?

The viola is written in alto clef because that is its musical note range. Note that you are required to learn "the violin clef" too. Also because we needed another clef... and violas are special and didn't fit into any of the other instruments' ranges.
