Colombia loves this president, jest like the U.S. loves Lincoln, Obama, Washington, and Benjamin Franklin. The FARC have lost most of it's troops by surrender, the surrendering troops are interviewed and then given a new life to raise a family and have an honest job. The FARC have become even more peaceful, they have stopped kidnapping, and have released a lot of the kidnapped troops. The US is Colombia's most powerful allie, it has helped with technology and to train troops, even though American troops get easily sick in the jungle, since they are more trained for the desert. Colombia is at a strategic place because of its position. It is very fertile, most of the land has a tropical climate to grow good food, and the cold parts grow food that well grows in the cold. It is also the opening to central America. As well as having coasts to both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. It is also the best connection between Nicaragua, Venzuela, and Ecuador, who do not like the US. Without Colombia the whole south American continent would go against the US. The Prophet Muhammad (peace upon him) said: {When you slaughter an animal, do so in the best way. One should sharpen his knife to reduce the suffering of the animal.}
In light of these and other Islamic texts, the act of inciting terror in the hearts of defenseless civilians, the wholesale destruction of buildings and properties, the bombing and killing of innocent people and children is totally forbidden per Islam teachings and rules.

Well, the above are nice in theory, but light on reality.No large sect (Shia, Sunni, Sufism) promotes terrorism as a part of its doctrine. However, Islam, at this point in history, lacks the huge institutional structures common to other large religions. This leads to a situation where the reality of the practice of Islam results in a massively huge number of variations of teachings. This means that the teachings emanating from two different mosques which both claim to follow Sunni-ism (for example) will vary much more significantly than a similar comparison between two Orthodox Jewish synagogues, or two Baptist churches.
The problem here is that while Islam as a whole, and the major sects within it do not advocate terrorism in any way, there is lots of "sloppy" Islam going on. Radical demagogues pose as imams and teach terrorism as "sanctioned" by the Koran, and there are no large Islamic institutions to discipline or expel them, or even a unified religion to be able to state that they're not teaching proper Islam.
Imagine a Christian "preacher" claiming that Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son to God means that we should all kill our first born son as proof of our religious fervor and righteousness. Such a preacher would be immediately condemned as a radical, charlatan, and heretic by not just the Catholic Church, but by the various Protestant churches, and the vast majority of all other Christian Churches as well. Thus, society would reject such a preacher as a dangerous nutjob, and deny him any power or legitimacy. Unfortunately, this kind of action simply isn't as possible in much of the Muslim world, where an imam preaching the righteousness of strapping on a explosive vest and killing other people has no counterweight of Islamic institutions to throw him out and brand him as "anti-Islamic".
The result is that you have innumerable, small sects (often build solely around the teachings of a single charismatic imam) teaching radical Islam to those who cannot tell it's wrong. There is simply no one sect "more" responsible for terrorism or this radicalization - it's a historical and geopolitical problem that Islam both reflects and magnifies.
