I've been asking the same question, but apparently you only have one oppurtunity and that oppurtunity comes if you choose to be the duke/ duchess of Mania. I chose Demetia... so I entered the Golden Saints secret hideout instead of the Dark Seducers... whick is Pinnacle Rock...

Yes, like many games, Oblivions "creatures" will re-spawn after a set amount of time. Several in-game days, hours, etc. This includes many "unnamed" NPCs, such as Bandits.

Here are some pretty cool cheats that i like to use.

Get on the console and type in tgm. It will make you invincible, which means never dying, never losing mana or fatigue, having infinite arrows, and being able to cast any spell, even if the mana cost is 100000000.

Also, you can type in coc testinghall for a large room full of many doors. Each door has something different( Some doors are not accessible). One door has all armors in the game, another has all weapons, another has all clothes etc. The doors also contain all furniture and things such as forks, pitchers and cups.

Also, you can unlock or lock doors by pressing the console button, and before typing unlock, click the door or container and it should say in white letters at the top, whatever that item is. Then type unlock to unlock it or lock to lock it. To lock it with a certain lock level, type a number after you type lock ( Lock 100)

To kill a character instantly (Which is a little cheap considering you are invincible already) press the console button, click on the character and type kill. Don't do this to yourself or you will die.

For all spells, type psb.

does this work for xbox?

In Skyrim you can either take them from a person you have killed or more commonly they are found as random loot, usually in caves where a lot of necromancers live. They can also be crafted with the lightning attractor in the Soul Cairn (Dawnguard DLC), can be found from geode veins in Blackreach and can be purchased from Enthir in Winterhold and Falion in Morthal.

The Kvatch Rebuilt mod can be found at the Oblivion Nexus.

go to the imperial city distroct and go to the arena. Become a combatant and keep fighting until you are grand champion. it took me atleast a day before i became grand champion at lvl 4 and i made about 6750 gold pieces. now i have a house with the works and some other good stuff

you can get an ebony sword by doing a Shrine Quest for the WebSpinner. And it is pretty easy.

Although it is not really an ebony sword. It does not share the appearance of any normal ebony weapon. It resembles the sword goldbrand accept it has a black handle, and a silver blade. I believe it's enchantments are Silence and Drain Magika.

I would suggest finding an immortal(aka quest person) and just beat on him 'till he's dead, wait for him to resurrect, and continue the beatdown :P hope I helped!

there are soul trap spells you can purchase, cast the spell on an enemy and kill them while the spell is still active, but you need to have a soul gem in your inventory to hold the souls you capture. There are also soul trap staffs if you are too sucky to use the spells.

This may be a simple fix.... Ford door and trunk locks are notorius for "freezing up". Buy a can of lithium spray grease, insert the stem that comes with the can into the lock, and spray the lock with the lithium grease lubricant. This may free it up. You should lubricate the locks on your doors and trunk at least once a year. Note: This will also work on the locks to your house. It keeps them operating smoothly. If that doesn't work, perhaps you don't have the correct key for the trunk. Many Ford vehicles require one key for the doors and a different key for the trunk.

Daedric Armour has the higher armour value, even when upgraded. Dragonplate Armour is slightly lower, but weighs only 4/5 as much as Daedric. Arguably, Dragonplate is easy to make, as it requires easily obtained Dragonbone rather than Daedra Hearts.

Also It doesn't matter. The armor rating cap in Skyrim is 576. And since both armors can hit the cap, both are equal. It just depends on which one you think looks better.

"Morrowind vs. Oblivion" is a BIG topic that has been discussed to death by the fans.

Personally, I vote Morrowind. Oblivion is easily one of the most over-rated games ever made. But it's perfect for a 4-year-old.

Bow of hatreds soul. You can find it in a 'the punished' containers in it. No matter what, that thing should do massive damage. Make sure to dupe the arrows though.

if you have just started there is something at the side that gets you on to level one. once you have been playing for a long time auto's from celebs, vips and high level moviestar's give you a lot of fame. My Moviestar Nelly Jones is about 55 fame if you get an auto from me

You can't make a weapon in Oblivion other than using a Sigil Stone to add an effect and a name to the weapon. However, if you play it on the PC, you can create one using The Elder Scrolls Construction Set. Creating a weapon in that program is easy. The tutorials will make it really simple.

Other than the ugly smudge beard you can give your character at the creation screen, a couple mods exist, which allow you to "Equip" beards. www.tesnexus.com

Search around for a cave north of the Winterhold college. An imperial called Septimus Signus will give you a dwarven sphere and a dwarven cube.

You need to enter a Dwemer ruin and find a table-like device at the bottom. Your quest tracker will point you towards Alftand, but you might have already found one at Mzinchaleft or Raldbthar. The dwarven sphere will open a staircase leading down to an exit to Blackreach.

Follow your quest tracker to find the Tower of Mzark. At the top of this is the device the Dwemer used to transcribe the Elder Scroll. Place the Lexicon on the mounting, and press the third button until the lexicon opens up, the second button until the first button lights up, and the first to complete the process. Take the lexicon (which is part of Septimus' quest) and the Elder Scroll from the machine (which is needed for the main quest).

To get one as a house there is a downloadable expansion for it, in total there a 3 different expansions you can download for quests that get you houses, one is for the castle, one is for a wizards tower, and the other is for a different type of house there are also other expansions, one is for the shivering isles which is a pretty big expansion that covers new territory, and there is also another one , knights of the nine, i think its called, which is a series of quests in short theres a ton of stuff for download from xbox live for oblivion

At any town except for Anvil and the Imperial City go to the Count or Countess and ask him/her about it .

In the Imperial City go to the Market District (north east of the Palace District), go to the shop named the Office of Imperial Commerce and talk to the woman about buying a house (it's 2000 gold).

In Anvil go to the Count's Arms (an inn opposite the main gate), talk to Velwyn Benirus and ask about Benirus Manor (it's 5000 gold).

If would depend on how much you raise your attributes each level. You can either slow-level by increasing attributes +1 point at a time (+1/+1/+1) until all your attirbutes are raised to 100 (it does not matter what race you are or what your favored attributes are, they all equal out to 300) which would lead to a maximum possible level of 100, on the other hand, if you chose +5 attributes every time you leveled (+5/+5/+5) then you would max out all your attributes at merely level 20.

Recap: Highest possible skill level: 100

Furthermore, the highest possible Character level is approx 48. This is based on 7 major skills each starting at 25 and 40 to 45 race skill bonuses (assuming they contribute to your major skills).

So the Math:

(700 max skill points - 125 points base major skills + 40\45 racial bonuses) / 10

= 48 (or 48.5)

Summary: It might actually be better long term to choose a race with skill bonuses NOT related to your overall class to give you a theoretical MAX LEVEL of 52!

EDIT: If you are talking about the highest character level that you can get it is level 255.

Knights of the Nine is an expansion pack you can get on XBOX live or at any Wal-Mart or other game source. It gets a new storyline, facton, and some kool armor. it comes with the Shivering Isles buy in the stores.

The process of joining a guild in Oblivion depends on the guild.

Mages Guild and Fighters Guild - simply visit one of the guild halls in any of the major city holds. As long as you don't have a bounty on your head, they'll let you join.

Thieves Guild - You need to either have been told about the Thieves Guild by bribing a beggar (or just having a high personality and being naturally likeable) or by spending some time in a jail. If you take the jail route, someone will deliver you a note telling you how to join the guild.

Dark Brotherhood - Kill someone in the game. The message 'Your killing has been observed by forces unknown' may appear. If it doesn't, you'll just need to keep killing people.

i would have to say the VARLA STONE. you can get one by exploring caves or you can buy one from a magic shop, it may be like 1,237 gold but its really worth it. it sells for 1,000 gold and doesn't take up barley any room unless its in bulk. my favorite thing to do in the beginning is to join the dark broterhood and talk the the lion guy that is mean to you but is the only merchant there, and wait until he goes into the training room and duplicate it so you can over carry alot of it and still be able to sell them without him walking away. i got like 200,000 gold in like 30 minuts which is worth it. oh and buy the bow and axe he is selling after your done its a breeze after that. n_n. - Aaron
