Is it be possible that World War 2 could eventually lead to a World War 3?

It may have been considered possible once, as the close of World War 2 did lead to the Cold War, which very nearlly turned into a Nuclear war.

However it can be said that any Nuclear war could have it's roots in World war 2 as the Nuclear weapon has it's roots in World war 2.

Also if a Asian Communist nation was to start World war 3then that could be traced back to the Cold war and that in itself could be traced back to World war 2.

It's all just a matter of perspective, for example; many causes of World war 2 have their roots in World war 1 so any war that could be traced back to the Cold war could then be blamed on events of World war 2 and in turn could be linked to the outcome of World war 1.

So their is no yes or no answer as it really depends on how you look at it.

What will be the sides of world war 3?

Assuming it happens it should look something like this...

Side 1: United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Israel, Canada, Poland, Australia, Italy, Denmark, South Korea, Philippines, Japan (only if its neutrality is violated), Saudi Arabia, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Turkey, Portugal, Georgia, Morocco, New Zealand, Taiwan, Qatar, Bahrain, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Norway, and Iceland

vs

Side 2: Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Lebanon, Syria, Pakistan, Burma, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Estonia, Argentina, Latvia, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, Afghanistan (according to Afghan President Hamid Karzai, Afghanistan would join Pakistan in war), Tajikistan, and Mongolia (I am assuming Mongolia would be forced to aid Russia and China in the war effort)

There would probably be less militarily significant countries involved on both sides. I find it difficult to determine what side other South American countries would choose, or if they would even get involved. As for who would win, It is impossible to tell due to Nuclear weapons being a huge variable.

As a Vietnamese I took offence when people think Vietnam will ally with China. Just because Vietnam and China are both communist countries, it does NOT mean they are allies. The Vietnamese hated the Chinese because for a thousand years the Chinese targeted Vietnam for more land from many dynasties, they do not want the Chinese to take over their land, the 1979 Sino-Vietnam War, and the conflict of the dispute islands of Paracel and Spratly.

Japan is one of America's closest allies, so I don't think their 'neutrality' would have to be violated for it to join America. As for south america, I believe it would depend on which side Brazil joined, and, if forced to pick a side, I believe that Brazil would join America.

As for the war itself, it would likely be fought in 5-6 theaters of conflict. Theater 1 would be the Latin American theater, with Cuba, Argentina, and Venezuela (which I believe would join side 2) against the US and its Latin American allies. Theater 2 would be the European Theater, with the EU fighting against a Russian invasion. Theater 3 would be the Middle Eastern Theater, with Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the Caucasus coutries fighting against Iran, Syria, Egypt, and possibly Russia. Theater 4 would be the Indian Theater, with India fighting Chinese and Pakistani invasions. Theater 5 would be the Pacific/East Asian Theater, With South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, Australia, Vietnam, New Zealand, and whatever American forces are stationed over there against China, and North Korea.

Theater 6 would be the Bering Theater, with either Russia invading Alaska across the Bering Strait, or the US and Canada invading Siberia, possibliy both.

Is the word really going to end on December 21 2012?

no i dont thihk the world is going to end people said the world was going to end in 2,000

Are all Africans going to live when the world ends in 2012?

First of all, who told you it was ending in 2012? We dont have enough evidence to prove it. Even if it did, people would have to survive, considering the world wont actually end. whats it gonna do?Turn into a black hole? No. People say that the Africans stand a better chance of living through that and they do. Only because Africa has the highest altitude out of all of the continents, and is one of the biggest. So, if the world does end, you could survive. Although it is Extremely unlikley that the world will end in 2012.

What is the percentage of berelvi Islam and dubandi Islam in world?

The beliefs of the 'Barelvi' are widespread throuhgout the worl even though people who hold the beliefs that are concurrent with the 'barelvis' would call themselves 'barelvi'. Therefore, if we say 15% of the Muslims are Shia, then 3% are Wahabbi, that leaves us with 82% with about 70-75% having 'Barelvi' beliefs/or beliefs concurrent to their beliefs, with the rest with 'Deobandai' beliefs...

Why is there so many tornadoes and things going on around the world is the world coming to a end really slowly?

It is just because of the increased reporting and communication of what is going on. Years ago, we didn't hear so much news nationally or wordly, just locally. In reality, we had just as many tornadoes and things going on then. We just didn't hear about them as we only had limited radio and tv. Keep in mind that weather goes in stages. Some years, we don't have a lot of activity. Other years (like now), are quite active.

What is going to happen on March 20 2012?

The Mayan calander ends on December 21, 2012, which happens to be the winter solstice. I have never heard that anything is going to happen on March 20 of that year. So I guess the answer is I don't know.

Nothing happened in March 20 of 1912

What is the basis of the 2012 end of the world myth?

The basis is the Mayan 5,000 year calander which ends on December 21, 2012, or what we call the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year. But what gives the premise credibility is that it coincides with other prophets such as Nostrodamas and Edgar Casey. What scientists know is that on the above date 12-21-2012 is a natural occurance where the Earth somehow 'wobbles' as it's axis. It happens every 26,000 years, and I guess we can assume that the world did not end 26,000 years ago and it will probably not end in two years.

When you die and go to heaven can you see people live on earth?

It depends on how you die. If you die from murder or suicide you stay on earth, until your spirit it transfered to Heaven. If you die naturally like in your sleep or of old age, then you have a straight path to where you want to be.

How many people committed suicide because of December 21st 2012?

An outstanding 2.1 million (out of 7 billion) on this Earth committed suicide because of the predicted end of the world 12/21/12. Mostly groups or cults decided to commit suicide to either not live through this hypothetical and predicted tragedy. But when the day passed with no grief, tons of families have to live with this regret.

What going to happen in the year 2012?

Because the movie 2012 was made, so many people fear that the world will end in 2012. The truth is no one knows. So don't think the about when the world will end, instead live your life to its fullest :)

Will you live until 2013?

What was going on in Abilene Texas during World War 2?

During World War II, Abilene was home to Abilene Army Air Field and Camp Barkeley. Camp Barkeley was one of the largest military training camps in the nation and was also the site of a POW camp for Germans who had been captured in North Africa. Not far from Abilene, in Sweetwater, the Women Airforce Service Pilots trained at Avenger Field.

How do you stop freaking out over the world ending in 2012?

Read the Bible because Jesus did not tell December 21 2012 is doomsday.

Another way to look at it is to realize that there will be nothing you can do if, for some reason, the world was actually going to end on 12/21/12 other than to be prepared for whatever judgment day you believe in. For followers of the Bible, it also says that you can "never know the hour or the minute" so, paraphrasing, "always be ready - don't wait until the last second".

Why isn't the Tribe of Dan in the 144000?

No one seems sure as to why though there is some speculation. Some will say the tribe of Dan seemed to fall away from God's path and to idolatry - see Judges 18 and 1 Kings 12 as examples. Indeed Dan's territory became a center of pagan worship.

Tying this to the prophecy Israel gave about each of his sons, we read in Genesis 48:16-18 of Dan's 'wandering' and perhaps their abandoning their true faith as described above, when interpreting the 'a viper by the path' phrase.

In any event, the last verse tells us that Dan will eventually be saved with the other tribes and all peoples of the world, "I have waited for your salvation, O LORD!"

Please note that the tribe of Ephraim is excluded as well. His father Joseph is included with brother Manasseh. Another question perhaps?

Why does the north end of a magnet attract to the north end of the world?

answer 2 This common observation is due to confusion.

Since the North Pole of the earth was well known of in early times, we may say that the field there is the North Pole. By convention.

On my compass, one end of it points to the North Pole [well not quite, but we'll pass on] and this end of the compass should be called the North Seeking Pole, or the North Pointing Pole. It should NOT be called the North Pole of the compass.

Knowing the laws of magnets as we both do, we know that the North Seeking Pole of my compass must be in fact a south pole of a magnet.

Reverting to the [ ... ] comment above. Your compass, and mine as well, do NOT point to the North Pole. The needle aligns itself with the lines of magnetic lines of force at the place where I am.

You can show this for yourself with the 'iron filings' experiment.

o Place a couple of magnets at least 10 cm apart, if you can get the demo to work at 20cm so much the better. Strong magnets are worthwhile.

o Lay a sheet of stiff paper above the magnets and sprinkle it with iron filings in the classic manner. You should now see the curved lines of force between the magnet poles demonstrated by the iron filings.

o Move your compass about the magnetic field as demonstrated by the pattern of the filings.

Provided your compass needle does not overwhelm the magnetic field between the magnets, you should see that the compass needle folllows the lines of force.

How did the end of the world hoax start?

Virtually every civilization that has existed has an end of world philosophy. Most scientists know that an end of our world (as we know it) is inevitable. So to assume end of world beliefs are a hoax may be incorrect.

What does Assembly of god believe about end times?

The Assembly of God denomination teaches the biblical description of end-time events to be literal, not just symbolic (as some denominations teach). They recognize, however, that there are varieties of opinions on how events will occur, the sequence in which they may occur, and the identification of the participants of these events. Thus, they do not teach opinions beyond clear Biblical statements regarding the details of what will take place.

Specifically, they believe the following aligns with the many Biblical references to end-times, but are not dogmatic about the timelines involved:

1. The Rapture of Christians who are living will occur as the first phase of what is commonly referred to as the Second Coming. (I Thess. 4: 16-17 and I Cor. 15: 51-52). They teach that Christians will be spared from some of the suffering of the last days, but not all the suffering, and that Christians have been told how to live in the last days (Matt. 24: 4-46).

2. A 7-year period called the Tribulation will occur after Christians have been raptured from earth. The last half of this 7-year tribulation period is called the Great Tribulation, and God's wrath will be poured out on earth during this time. The Assemblies of God generally adheres to a "pre-tribulation" view of the rapture, but are generally not dogmatic about this view.

3. At the end of the 7-year Tribulation period, Christ will return to earth with his saints (Christians who are in heaven) following behind him, all riding on white horses (Rev. 19: 11, 14). The ensuing conflict between the world of righteousness and the world of darkness is called the Battle of Armageddon (Rev. 16). After Satan is defeated at the Battle of Armageddon, he is cast into a bottomless pit for 1,000 years (Rev. 20).

4. The 1,000 year period during which Satan is in the bottomless pit is referred to as the Millennium, and will be a period of glory and perfect relationships (Is. 2, 11, 12, 32, 35, 60, 65; Zech. 14). At the end of the 1,000 year period, Satan will be released for "a little season" to test the love, faith, and loyalty of those individuals born during the Millennium who are still untested as to their choice between right and wrong. After this short time, Satan will be permanently cast into the lake of fire (Rev. 20).

5. After the "little season" that Satan is allowed to test individuals at the end of the Millennium, those who are deceived by Satan will be physically destroyed by fire , and all non-Christians will now be dead. Then will follow the resurrection of the wicked dead for final judgment (Rev. 20:11). Books are opened, and the wicked are judged according to their works. Having rejected Christ, their names will not be written in the Book of Life, and they will be cast into the lake of fire to be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Only those who accepted the work that Jesus accomplished on our behalf through his suffering, death, and resurrection will have their names found in the Book of Life, and will spend eternity with Jesus in everlasting glory.
