The End of the World (apocalypse)

What world is it? In order to answer this question, we must infer that the questioner means earth and surrounding areas. However, some are taught esoterically that the world comes and goes in history with no permanent creation or destruction. To say the world ends means no preservation exists eternally. Yet many religions have different beliefs and to say one has preference over the other means one is a member of that belief. I prefer the going and coming of lower world preservation times. It could end tomorrow and begin the next day, but in a permanent ending, I do not believe. Consciousness of the Self as an individual spiritual divine spark is eternal no matter what form one is in whether spiritual or manifest. Religions and philosophies place great limitations upon one, whereas freedom of spirit always has been for all outside these binding (meaning of religion) influences.

This is purely theory, and cannot be proven at this point.

No one really knows. There are people with signs walking down pedestrian areas in cities that say they know, and occasionally someone will give a date and say it comes from God, but in the scriptures (if you are religious) it tells us that no man knows the hour. We'll probably figure it out before it happens... but not by much. :) And if you aren't religious, the answer is the same... who knows when we'll blow ourselves up with scary man-made bombs or the next pandemic will come. The best thing we can do is live the best we can and not worry about things that we can't control.

Apocalyptic predictions

2012 is sometimes claimed to be a great year of spiritual transformation (or apocalypse). Many esoteric sources interpret the completion of the twelfth B'ak'tun cycle in the Long Count of the Maya calendar (which occurs on December 21 by the most widely held correlation) to mean there will be a major change in world order.

Accordingly, several eclectic authors claim that a major, world-changing event will take place in the year 2012:

The 1995 book The Mayan Prophecies linked the Mayan calendar with long-period sunspot cycles.

The book claims the Maya may have been instructed in their wisdom by discarnate entities from Orion and the Pleiades. Contact was maintained through shamanic rituals conducted in accordance with the movements of planets and stars.

The 1997 book "The Bible Code" claims that, according to certain algorithms of the Bible code, a meteor, asteroid or comet will collide with the Earth.

The book "The Nostradamus Code" speaks of a series of natural disasters caused by a comet (possibly as above) which will allow the third Antichrist to disperse his troops around the globe under the guise of aid in preparation for a possible nuclear war, although in the strictest sense it is unspecific as to nuclear war or some other natural or man caused destruction.

The book "The Orion Prophecy" claims that the Earth's magnetic field will reverse.

The 2005 book "Beyond 2012: Catastrophe or Ecstasy" by Geoff Stray reviews several theories, prophecies and predictions concerning 2012 and finds where authors have used faulty information or have bent the truth to fit their theories.

The 2006 book "2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl" by Daniel Pinchbeck discusses theories of a possible global awakening to psychic connection by the year 2012, creating a noosphere. It also discusses many other aspects of the 2012 phenomenon from a neutral perspective.

Other prophecies and apocalyptic writings and hypotheses for this year include:

Terence McKenna's mathematical novelty theory suggests a point of singularity in which a great number of things could happen, including "hyperspatial breakthrough", planetesimal impact, alien contact, historical metamorphosis, metamorphosis of natural law, solar explosion, quasar ignition at the galactic core, or nothing.

The Prophecy of the Popes, attributed to Saint Malachy, speculated that Pope Benedict XVI would reign during the beginning of the tribulation of which Jesus spoke, and sometime later a future pope described in the prophecy as "Peter the Roman", the last in this prophetic list, would appear, bringing as a result the destruction of the city of Rome and the Last Judgment.

Many new age spiritualists and philosophers ("new-agers") believe humankind will enter an age of enlightenment in 2012. There are a range of varying, generally positive, beliefs shared by a subset of spiritualists from the mundane to exceptional - including a positive social shift and age of peace, mankind becoming psychic and connected by a collective, and/or an evolution of the human race into non-corporeal beings made of "spiritual" energy, or light energy, i.e. 'ascension'.

Some alien-enthusiasts, along with some new-agers, believe 2012 to correspond approximately with the return of alien "watchers" or "caretakers" who might have helped the first human civilizations with developing their technology and may have been waiting for us to reach a higher level of technological and/or social advancement. Beliefs range from the extra-terrestrials having benevolent purposes - such as to help human society evolve - to malevolent purposes - such as enslavement of mankind and/or manipulation.

The Nepalese ascetic Ram Bahadur Bomjon, the so-called "Buddha boy", reportedly told his followers that he would return around 2012.

Some proponents of a peak oil catastrophe place major events in 2012. Richard C. Duncan's book "The Peak of World Oil Production" and "The Road To The Olduvai Gorge" claims that the Olduvai cliff will begin and permanent blackouts will occur worldwide. Several studies predict a peak in oil production in or around 2012.

The end of the world,

The world will end in our hands. Soon we will turn ourselves into monsters as we are beginning to. Soon the world will lose its' humane self and rot. World War III is coming. United states is losing it's seat in being the World Power. Eager people are waiting to get their hands on NUKE and send them. For our sake, I hope the world does not end and it will not end, for it is only the beginning.

Many people have tried and will continue trying to derive the date of the end of the world. However, the plain and simple truth is that no one can really know for sure.

That's for God to decide. No one knows for sure, only God!

Some people believe that the world will not end, go on until the end of time, although that is a paradox within itself since there is not "the end of time" if they believe the world will not end!

From the Islam religion, the only information that is given is that when The Day Of Judgment -Yawm al 8iyama, literally meaning the day of the rising- does happen, it will be on a Friday.

Nobody really knows, there are several spiritual, religious and scientific theories of how the world will end and when, several times in the past there have been predictions of when the world will end, like the years 1000, 2000 and in the future, 2012.

Scientifically though planet earth will be consumed when the sun grows to a red giant in a couple of billion years or so, whether or not humans are still around remains to be seen, more than likely we will either be extinct, evolved into another lifeform or no longer live on earth.

But truthfuly, nobody in this world knows when the world is going to end. And You should not be worried about that now. It does not matter.

It says in The Bible that when Jesus, our Savior, comes back, as He promised us before He went to Heaven, then the Earth might possibly end from all sorts of natural disasters. But truthfully, nobody except God knows.

But as I stated earlier, it depends on which religion you believe in. Since not everyone follows The Bible.

I cannot chapter and verse on this question but I do remember in Matthew's gospel that Jesus said (paraphrase): I will come like a thief in the night. You will know not the day nor the hour. I say to all Watch!

It is a common sense that life can be end at any time with an unexpectedly due to circumstance. This is called death caused by Nature itself.

There could be some of the supernatural behind someones' death.

The fact 1 is in the above mentioned all cause to death is related to the destiny , might some can be die or some might not be.

Fact 2. Death does not the end but its just the beginning :- some time it happens that someones death is quite painful for someone ,not necessary its painful to all. Like if you are trying to overpower your enemy for last very long but failed. His death by his own destiny would come with new hope of life in you, & might it could be worst to some of his beloved.

Hence .... "Death is not the the end ,its just beginning ".

Fact-3 - Some time life become more pain full than death:- No doubt Life could be more pain full some of the time ,, when you feel No Friends left anymore , No relatives are there for you , No more well-wisher left around you, all source of guidance is open for you , you find yourself with no more hope of of life you are feel that you are not willing / able to serve anymore . ....It never means that you are close to end .

It Just that due dearth of support your moral is failed to make stand or to make you fight against the Odds.

What need to be done then?? Think Before you do :- Think deeply First , And try to to get the solution from your inner soul ,it says that our suol inter-connected to Lord & Lord is connected to our heart .

Means heart made decision never come wrong , either it fair or unfaire for others. But you should truly follow your heart , always Liston to your heart , don't make heart to litsten you...

Assuming this is in regard to Bible prophecies regarding the "time of the end" of God's plan of Salvation for mankind and the restoration of the Kingdom of God to earth... and not the literal "cessation of the end of the measurment of time" in the universe; which would be answered along a whole other mind set -- let's pursue the "time of the end" prophecies.

The "time of the end" refers to the conclusion of the "temporary period of time" that God has allotted to mankind for His plan to allow man to experience his first taste of life under the heavy hand and oppression of Satan the Devil and his demons, to learn the terrifying depths of sin, while calling some men out of its depths to overcome and train to fill the Government offices that these rebellious angels abandoned on earth in the beginning before man was made.

These "rebellious angels" were cast down and restrained on the earth, following their rebellion, before man was made [see Rev.12:7-9]; imprisoned here until the Last Great Day, Judgment Day [Jude 1:6 & II Peter 2:4] - the "Time of the End" of God's plan, to stand trial for their sins.

God is calling His "elect" out of the world during this allotted time, to rule with Christ for a thousand years to teach the rest of the nations on earth God's way of Love and Concern for others. The "time of the end" of this plan will culminate with "Judgment Day" -- called in God's plan: the "Last Great Day."

"The Great Day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the Day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That Day is a Day of Wrath, a Day of trouble and distress, a Day of wasteness and desolation, a Day of darkness and gloominess, a Day of clouds and thick darkness, a Day of the trumpet [the signal to assemble for war] and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers." (Zeph.1:14-16 KJV)

According to the prophetic passage above... it's seriously doubtful that PEACE will preside over the earth for ANY amount of time prior to Jesus' return in the Day of His Wrath. It makes sense that IF PEACE RULED the earth, then He wouldn't have to return in wrath, doesn't it?

Peace has NEVER truly been a worldwide phenomenon since man first sinned and the world's firstborn brother killed his younger brother.

Men like to use the word "peace" to appease the masses with messages of imagined calm. But even in the midst of war, men like to, paradoxically, send armed military forces into war zones, calling them "peacekeepers." This, too, is an illusion among deceived men [by Satan] who don't seem to realize that you can't KEEP peace until you first MAKE peace.

No... Bible prophecy doesn't foretell of any Peace on the earth before the "time of the end" of God's plan -- at least by the hands of man. It tells us that men will TALK of peace... and DECLARE peace -- but this, too, will be the lies and deception of the god whom man has always obeyed and worshiped.

"They offer superficial treatments for My people's mortal wound. They give ASSURANCES OF PEACE when ALL IS WAR. " (Jer.6:14 NLT New Living Translation)

[KJV]: "...saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace."

The only "peace" that will come at the hands of men at the "time of the end" will be the same old result as that throughout the history of this deceived, twisted world -- it will be AN ILLUSION!

"For you know quite well that the Day of the LORD will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. When people are saying, 'All is well; everything is PEACEFUL and SECURE,' then DISASTER WILL FALL UPON THEM as suddenly as a woman's birth pains begin when her child is about to be born. And there will be no escape. But you aren't in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you won't be surprised when the Day of the LORD comes like a thief." (I Thess.5:2-4 NLT)

The main difference in the false declaration of peace NOW at the "time of the end" and all the other declarations of peace throughout the history of the world, is the reality that mankind now has the means by which to eliminate all life on planet earth -- and that there are many factions at work today who are perfectly willing to use them all to achieve their Satan-guided, twisted goals.

And Jesus assures us that if He doesn't cut the "time of the end" short and return to save the world -- that's exactly what will happen.

"For that will be a time of greater horror than anything the world has ever seen or will ever see again. In fact, unless that time of CALAMITY [not PEACE] is shortened, THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE WILL BE DESTROYED. But it will be shortened for the sake of God's chosen ones." (Matt.24:21-22 NLT)

So, Bible prophecy speaks of man TALKING ABOUT PEACE... but that it will never occur at the hands of Satan-deceived man:

"They spend their time and energy spinning evil plans that end up in deadly actions. They cheat and shortchange everyone. Nothing they do is productive; all their activity is filled with sin.. Violence is their trademark. Their feet run to do evil, and they rush to commit murder. They think only about sinning [see Gen.6:5]. Wherever they go, misery and destruction follow them. THEY DO NO KNOW WHAT TRUE PEACE IS or what it means to be Just and Good. They continually do wrong, and those who follow them CANNOT EXPERIENCE A MOMENT's PEACE." (Isa.59:5-8 NLT)

Before Jesus Christ returns... there will be NO PEACE on earth! Only TALK of it.

Jesus Christ is coming back to prevent man from KILLING HIMSELF and all life on earth. He's coming back MAKING WAR... to BRING PEACE TO THE EARTH for a thousand years.

Jesus is coming back to bring Peace to the world. And He's going to do it by MAKING WAR!

"...For He Judges Fairly and THEN HE GOES TO WAR." (Rev.19:11 NLT)

"The ARMIES of heaven, dressed in pure white linen, followed Him on white horses. From His mouth came a Sharp Sword, and with it HE STRUCK DOWN THE NATIONS. He ruled them with a rod of iron, and He trod the winepress of the fierce wrath of Almighty God." (verses 14-15)

"In THAT DAY OF PEACE, battle gear will no longer be issued. Never again will uniforms be bloodstained by war. All such equipment will be burned... the Government will rest on His shoulders. These will be His titles: ...PRINCE OF PEACE. His ever expanding, PEACEFUL GOVERNMENTwill never end. He will rule forever with Fairness and Justice from the throne of His ancestor David. The passionate commitment of the LORD Almighty will guarantee this!" (Isa.9:5-7 NLT)

There are only two kinds of Peace prophesied at the "time of the end." The illusive, deceptive, unending hopes and dreams of peace expressed by deceived men, living under the evil god of this world; and the actual ETERNAL PEACE that Jesus Christ is bringing with Him.

Answer:

The book of Daniel wasn't written in chapters and verses... so, chapter 12 takes up where the translators ended chapter 11.

"At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then." (Dan.12:1 NIV)

This is the time of the Great Tribulation of which Jesus spoke in Matthew 24, just before all life on earth is threatened with annihilation and He has to return to stop it.

Daniel records in chapter 12: "...from the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up..." (verse11) - which Jesus references in His description of the Great Tribulation:

"...And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel - let the reader understand..." (Matt.24"14-15 NIV).

"For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now - and never to be equaled again." (Matt.24:21 NIV)

What happens to the world, is that the Great Tribulation going on at the end of chapter 11 will reach the point where God will have to cut it short or no flesh would be saved alive... and Jesus Christ returns to save the world and establish the Kingdom of God on earth.

In the King James version, the phrase "world without end" is found twice; once in the Old Testament, and once in the New.

Isaiah 45:17 - But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

Ephesians 3:21 - Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

well, some people don't think the world is gonna end. also some people don't believe in that. me, i don't think the world has an end. because before, people said the world was gonna end somewhere in another year long ago. IT NEVER HAPPENED. the date keeps moving forward.... and if the world is gonna end then just prepare yourself. i hope you have had a good life!

Another Answer: The end of the world will happen, Jesus will come back soon, so be ready!

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, NIV. "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."

His predictions go on for thousands of years and end in the year 3197, but he did not predict when the world would end.

Some of his prophecies suggested the world was going to end in 1999, but not much happened except the kargil war between India and Pakistan.

The Woman in Revelations is a symbol and likeness of the nation of Israel or the Church. The wilderness is outside the walls of the city and is therefore outside the influence of the secular world. You can think of the wilderness as isolated from society. This has nothing to do with sexual preferences. Although there are passages in the Bible that deal with immorality, this is not a section that deals directly with that topic.

"And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the Serpent." (Rev.12:14 KJV)

Chapter 12 is one of a number of "inset chapters" in the midst of the "parable" that is the book of Revelation. Inset chapters are a tool used by authors to give an overview regarding certain background information on characters and events [like a flashback in a character's past that brings the reader up to speed on future events].

Chapter 12 is such an inset chapter in the Revelation narrative... an overview of the past, present and future events regarding the "Dragon" ["...that old Serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world..." - verse 9]... from his original rebellion against God in the beginning, to the time of the end of God's plan; the Great Tribulation, when he shall bring his greatest persecution against God's people [the woman; God's church] since man was created.

The passage in question occurs at the "end" of this overview chapter... making the timing of the woman's fleeing into the wilderness and her being "nourished," taking place during the Great Tribulation.

Also... she will only be nourished for "a time, and times, and half a time"... which is "three-and-a-half years; not a "thousand years." The Bible reveals the Great Tribulation [the end time persecution of God's church by Satan prior to Christ's return] to last 3 1/2 years:

"...the Dragon [Serpent] gave him [the Beast; the end time one-world government leader] his power, and his seat, and great authority... and all the world wondered after the Beast. And they worshipped the Dragon which gave power unto the Beast... and there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies [against God and His people]; and power was given unto him [the Beast] to continue forty and two months [3 1/2 years]." (Rev.13:2-5 KJV)

The orientation of the persecution of God's church has always been, like the Israelites' liberation from Egypt, which symbolizes "sin" from which their faith in the "blood of the lamb" struck upon their windows and doors that night, saved them from death -- in their flight from Egypt [sin], they were pursued by Pharaoh and his army [Satan and his demons]. So it is that Satan's continuous persecution of God's people is intended to "draw them back into Egypt [sin]."

The flight of the woman into the wilderness was, and is to be, orchestrated by God. He stood between Israel and Pharaoh, then; and He will stand between Satan and His church during the coming Great Tribulation.

Modern man's preoccupation, perversion and idolatrous worship of "sex" is merely one of many of the sins from which he suffers. And although modern society is drifting deeper and deeper into it as the time of the end draws closer... the Bible reveals that it isn't MEN who are at the bottom of it. It has always been the god that he chose to worship and obey, beginning in the Garden of Eden.

And, as the passage above [Rev.13:2-5] reveals... the Serpent [Satan], who owns man and his governments [see Matt.4:8-9 & Luke 4:5-6]... will coerce them to "fight the returning Christ," [see Rev.16:13-16] returning to save His people and the earth from utter destruction when God cuts the Great Tribulation short to only 3 1/2 years:

"For then shall be Great Tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time... And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but FOR THE ELECT'S SAKE [the woman taken by God on eagle's wings into the wilderness for 3 1/2 years] those days shall be shortened." (Matt.24:21-22 KJV)

Any "sexual orientation" displayed by the world toward God's church [the woman in the wilderness of this sin-sick world] during the Great Tribulation will only be "incidental" to the persecution going on... and not the REASON for it. The world and the people in it are being "deceived" by the Serpent [Rev.12:9] in so many more ways than "sexually." The Serpent simply detests God, all of creation [including man]... and all that God stands for [Righteousness, Decency and Outgoing Love for others].

And the Serpent will be out to destroy God's people... if he could during this prophesied 3 1/2 year period that Jesus calls "Great Tribulation" of which that latter part of Revelation chapter 12 is about.

"...the earth helped the woman..." (Rev.12:16). Contrary to popular belief, this passage reveals that God doesn't waft His church off to heaven before or during the coming Great Tribulation. He hides and protects and nourishes "her" ON THE EARTH.

"... and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the Dragon cast out of his mouth. And the Dragon was wroth with the woman [because God wouldn't let him destroy His church], and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the Commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." (verses 16-17)

Not all of God's people are "spiritually strong enough" to suffer as Christ did. But there will be some who will be killed by Satan. Some who will be able, through Christ, to endure and overcome and be martyred for the sake of His name.

"...white robes were given to every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that SHOULD BE KILLED AS THEY WERE, should be fulfilled." (Rev. 6:11 KJV)

This is the blind, deceiving hatred of men toward other men, influenced and fanned into the heat of murderous rage by the god they worship, toward God's people at the time of the end. Whatever sexual orientation to which any or all of them may adhere shall be incidental and not the cause of it.

God will send the woman to His "specially prepared place" on the earth [Rev.12:14] for 3 1/2 years, to prevent them from being utterly destroyed by Satan and the deceived population of the world during the Great Tribulation... as He brings His plan of Salvation to its conclusion.
