There is much debate on who holds the fastest 40 time. Now, the 40 yard dash or simply "The 40" began with NFL Scouts. Therefore, I will not mention any olympic sprinters in my answer. Moving on, supposedly, Willie Gault of the Bears back in the 80's ran less than 4.1. He was termed the Fastest Man in the NFL during his tenure. The Mayans didn't calculate the end of the earth would be 2012, they just stopped counting.

Okay- We, as human beings, cannot predict the "ending" of the world, though it seems, some genius came up with 2012 marking the end of all life "As We Know It". No the world will not be ending anytime soon, not in 2012, 2013, 2023, or 2064. I have no earthly idea where you got 2064, but no, and you won't even be alive then, so?

The Norse called their view of how the world would end Ragnarok. That's when Loki would get free, his wolf son would kill Odin, Thor would die, an other all bad time. However, after it was over Thor's two sons, Modi and Magni, would get their dad's hammer and Balder would finally get out of Niflheim.

This answer needs more detail. I am not a scholar of Norse mythology but an avid watcher of Historical documentaries with a good memory.

After Thor's death, a period of eternal winter descends about the earth. Unlike most cultures who envision hell as a place of fire, to the Norse it was frozen. Unlike most religions who envision the end of the world ends in fire, to the Norse it ends in eternal winter. This Ragnarok was the basis of Wagner's epic opera aka "The Ring Cycle" or "The Twilight of the Gods".

A scholar needs to elaborate on Ragnarok and what happens after Thor's death here.

Austria lost it's entire empire. The Hapsburg Dynasty ended and Austria-Hungary ceased to exist.

Austria faced no real repercussions from the Treaty of Versailles, save the fact that she could only have a defensive army and not wage any hostile incursions.

Austria-Hungary had been a power player in Europe for sometime at the start of the War, but she was dying and everyone knew it. The problem that dogged her was her multi-ethnic empire and the growth of nationalistic attitudes among people in the world at that time. They had Serbs, Austrians, Hungarians, a few Italians, Croats. These people were Orthodox, Catholic, even some Muslims at the southern tip.

Everyone wanted their own country comprised of their nationalities. World War I gave many of the countries this and finally killed off the Austrian empire.

In it's weakened state, although they may have anyway, Austria allowed the Nazi's to march in and take over the country at the start of WWII.

The country had also bankrupted itself during the war, and due to rations being sent off to the front, many people were starving. Austria herself saw limited battle inside the country and so did not have to "rebuild" buildings. But the people were starving, poor and not sure where to go from there.

Oh for god's sake everyone say it will end on dec. 21 at 11.11.11 because that is the end of the Mayan calendar, but really, if the Mayans were still alive, then they would just start a new one! No-one knows when the world will end. but it's probably in billions of years!

A large number of Christian historians believe Emperor Nero was the mentioned Anti-Christ of the bible and that parts of Revelations were a history book.

First off, the Antichrist had to have ruled before John wrote Revelations in either 68 AD or 96 AD. In Revelations, John wrote the beast who once ruled shall rule again. So who ruled before 68 AD or 96 AD? That's right. Emperor Nero.

Aside from the 666, the blow to the head (Nero's suicide), the timeline of his rule.

In the book Ascension of Isaiah, Nero is first identified as the Anti-Christ. It says "the slayer of his mother (he killed his mother Agrippina), who himself this king, will persecute the plant which the Twelve Apostles of the Beloved have planted. Of the Twelve one will be delivered into his hands."

The Antichrist also known as Satan, was once a favoured son of God until he rebelled and was cast out without a body, he exists now as a spirit. Many persons may be referred to an Antichrists for they preach against there being a God or that He had a son called Jesus. Satan will not appear as a man but will do his work though others who he has drawn to his side.

At the final judgement he and people like him will receive their reward for the evil they have done. It will be left up to God as to what that punishment will entail. It is my understanding that Satan and those cast out with him will be sent to outer darknes, while others who chose do follow him out of ignorance will be given a place in the lowest of Gods kingdoms.
