During Soup and Surprise, the Gosselins announced the upcoming move to their children, but provided few details on their new home. The New House provided a peek into the new house before the family moved, but did not get into details about the house and related property.

- Yes, the Gosselins are moving. They are moving to a very large house somewhere in Pennsylvania. The episode, "The Big Move," which airs on February 2, 2009, is when their move will be on TV. All the information that I know as of now is that the twins share a room; Leah and Alexis share a room; Hannah gets her own room; and the boys share a room. Hannah is getting her own room due to some headaches she gets when she is woken up to early by Alexis and Leah.
- They moved in October 2008 to Wernersville, Pennsylvania. They are back in Berks County where they lived before moving to Elizabethtown. Wernersville is west of Reading. The new home consists of a 26 acre property, main house, guest house, three-car garage, pool, and barn. They have recently installed a white security fence along the perimeter of the property. The home is in a revocable trust in their attorney's name, which is a matter of public record on the Berks County Assessor's Office website.
- The house they were in is too small for them and over the past 3 years they have been looking for a bigger house. Due to personal reasons with the family that has been somewhat tainted in the recent months as Jon and Kate are no longer close to Aunt Jodi and Beth:

Kates father has his Masters Degree in Education. Hes a Teacher, a Minister, owns a large Campground, was in local government and they just built a large beautiful house. They love all their grandchildren but Kate has hurt them deeply when the sextuplets were born. Kates father's church where he is a Minister got tons of donations and volunteers for the tups and Kate was rude, nasty and demanded ONLY NEW MATCHING items.
Then she demanded CASH. Then she disowned him when he refused to give in.
She rejected unmatched cribs and clothing. She wanted 6 matching cribs etc
These are the same grandparents that watched the twins the entire time Kate was in the hospital with the sextuplets.

It caused a rift and Kate disowned them in a huff and cut the tups out of their lives. Jon's mom does not want to be filmed, but is still in touch with Jon. She also moved far away when she got remarried. Jon's father was really involved in the twins' lives, but unfortunately passed away. Kates "personality" has caused a rift with Jons Korean Mom. she has said that they were always just in her business and they have different ways to raise kids...

The babysitter who has been featured in the episodes from this summer, and was part of the "pizza incident" was Ashley.
She has been sitting for the kids for 5 years. Before her tearful departure she reminded the kids that she loves them.. and not to let anyone tell them different.
Ashley's tender comments were caught on camera. It is a moment the kids can treasure - Ashley loves them, and she cares for them in special way.

No, they are living their lives, all of them and the cameras would be there, maybe not as many, but they would be there to see them grow up and the parents made the choice so they could keep the cameras in a controlled manner and give the people what they seem to want to learn so much. As for the tabloid sharks, they are an unfortunate part of it but never are the children exploited, meaning the parents are never willingly use them for the parents' gain as they are there no matter what (the cameras) so what are they to do? I feel it was a good choice, besides, the children do benefit from it as they have a healthy life, lots of ineraction and they benefit monitarily so the definition of exploitation is out the window.
