As of September 2014, there are more than 3,200 wild golden lion tamarins in the world, thanks to conservation efforts in Brazil. The population was estimated at approximately 200 in the 1980s. Now there are more than double that in captivity, and the wild population is growing.

As most of them are held in captivity they get their energy form the food the receive from their keepers. A white tiger living in the wild would have to hunt for its food just like any other wild predator.

Government has undertaken tiger project .It is making an effort to stop the killing of tigers.

Save rhino project is also initiated by the government.

Government has made 89 national parks and 490 wildlife sanctuaries.

Project great Indian bustard has also been a success.

It is also protecting the national bird of India-peacock.

After mating the male tiger moves away and doesn't affect the lives of it's offsprings. The female tiger takes care of the cubs until they are old enough to hunt themselves, which doesn't take many years. Then the tigers live and hunt themselves meeting only at mating times.

NO! White tigers are definitely no extinct but, however the sad ending of the beautiful species may come if we don't provide the right care so I encourage people to stop big hunting groups and care a little more a day for the environmental wilderness and maybe we will have these wonderful species for long to come. :)

I personally think lions are more dangerous because they are the king of jungle.Another reason is that tigers are pets at some houses but to keep a lion you have to think........

Normally a tiger and lion don't get along , but it could be possible , you probably didn't think that a man could be a tigers best friend , but look at it now ! anything is possible !

They are becoming extinct because poachers are killing them and people are copping down their habitat ( trees).
