If your referring to plowing or pushing in the turn while racing, it means when you turn the wheel to the left you keep going straight unless you apply the brake to slow down so the plowing or pushing subsides and your able to make the turn.
It is a truck with a plow on it, then it plows the snow.
How do you register for monster truck competition?
You gotta first have a monster truck, which costs anywhere between $90,000-$250,000 to build, and over $1,000,000 to maintain over its average lifetime, which can be anywhere upwards of 10 years usually. Once you have a monster truck, you can go through the MTRA (Monster Truck Racing Association) to get insurance, testing, and a driver's license. You start out with a Class A license, then after 10 car crushes/non-purse races, you automatically upgrade to a Class B license, which allows you to drive full-time. After that, you contact promoters or promoters can contact you (if you put your name out there enough) and they'll send you a contract to fill out, and once you send that back in and they approve it, you're ready to race!
Depends on the specs. Most major fleets will govern their trucks between 62 - 65 MPH, and the speed of some may be limited by electronic engine controls which limits how many RPMs the motor can turn. Some semi trucks out there are capable of running over 120 MPH, although they're typically governed, usually for insurance reasons, at a significantly lower speed. For example, Star ran trucks with a 500 horsepower Caterpillar diesel, 13 speed transmission, and 3.55 rear end gears - a combination which makes for a triple digit truck, but the fleet was governed at 65 MPH.
