What is the minimum GPA requirement to get into UCLA freshman year?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I would say you would need a bare minimum of at least a 4.0 unweighted. I believe the average GPA last year was a 5.0 or 5.2. But the University of California's also look at your classes, not just your GPA. UCLA said they based their acceptance on three things: academics, involvement with your surroundings, and how you get past your problems or something. You also should have a good 1700ish on your SATs, i would shoot for 1900+ though.

University of California Los Angeles is not an easy school to get into.. and another thing to think about:

The University of California schools take GPA more seriously than some elite schools. Although you may have high SAT I and SAT Subject Test scores, GPA is the most important for Univ. of California's. If you plan to go to some elite school, make sure your test scores are high too.

AnswerTry going to their website. Also you need other things to get into a good college beside just a GPA. Some things they will look at include community service, sports, clubs, letters of recommendation, essays, and the list goes on. It's A 3.0 or Better all Great Colleges Accept 3.0 or Better

What is the average size of each class in yale?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Generally around 1,300.

"Average" can be a very misleading term. Classes at Yale range from one-on-one tutorials to small seminars to lecture courses of several hundred students. Seventy-five percent of Yale College courses enroll fewer than twenty students; twenty-nine percent enroll fewer than ten. Only about forty out of all 2,000 courses enroll more than 100 students. This means that there is a lot of student-professor interaction. In my experience, most professors are more than eager to talk to students and get to know them. There are some professors that have dinners at their houses that students are invited to, and every professor has open office hour for students to drop in and talk.

User Avatar

Asked by Herb123

Ray Bellamy University of Miami was not the first Black man to play for a major southern College sports (football) program.

My name is Bob Grant and I was actually the first in the year 1964, along with Ken Henry and William Smith at Wake Forest.

We went through that difficult and dangerous experience during the American Civil Rights struggle and I would really appreciate you correcting your error.

I was drafted by the Baltimore Colts in 1968 and played professionally with them and the Washington Redskins.

Thank You,

Who was on the 1966 UCLA Basketball Freshman Roster?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Lew Alcindor's first year on the vrsity, the UCLA Freshman Basketball Squad was Al Camarillo, Andy Daggatt, John Ecker, Dick Glucksman, Fred Gray, Vytas Katilius, Phiol Klein, Steve Patterson, Bill Seibert, Bob Simon and Lee Walzcuk. The team went on to a 16 and 2 season, coached by Gary Cunningham and Jay Carty. Has the distinction of being the first UCLA basketball team to lose a game in Pauley Pavillion, but after that won 15 in a row. These plyers went on to Varsity the following year: John Ecker, Fred Gray, Steve Paterson, Bill Seibert and Lee Walzcuk. Some that did not go on played on an intramural record breaking team of ex Freshaman players called Gary's Wonders in honor of their Freshman coach .. the original team name that was not used because of poor taste was Wooden's Rejects ....

How many championships have the bulls won?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Six!! All with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. 1990-91, 1991-92, 1992-93, 1995-96, 1996-97 and 1997-98. Greatest team of all time, because Jordan is best player of all time. Would have won at least eight consecutive championships if Jordan hadn't "retired" to play baseball in 1993-94 and 1994-95. Probably could have won two more championships after last one if coach Phil Jackson had not left, resulting in Jordan and Pippen also leaving the Bulls.
