When you are saving, choose the location that you want to save it into. You can choose the location, which will generally be initially in your My Documents folder. So it is just a matter of choosing where you do want to save it.

I you want to buy cheap USB memory sticks there are many places you can go.

For starters EBAY have loads of them, Only problem is sometimes they can be fake, this means they have less memory than is being advertised.

You can type it in on google shopping which has also the same threat as EBAY. There are many sites where you can buy USB's like Play, Amazon etc.

But you can get some for free by joining certain societies over the internet or get them from certain open days at various places. Obviously if you use this method you are going to get a cheap memory stick. Like a 256mb or a 512mb.

When a phrase says, move to that folder, do not press the mouse button anymore. If you select more than one file, drag anyone to the name of the USB placed at the left side of mouse, and the highlighted ghost image tells you how many files are going to me moved, and at this time do not press the mouse left mouse button anymore that all files will be moved to the USB folder.

Basicaly, like a heart valve it lets the flow of pressure through one way and closes when there is back pressure.

Well since I corrected his part I'll put mine in now. I am personally looking for the same thing but have yet to find any answer that helps. I have found the answer that I can not change them from my computer, but if you have the cds for the music you can burn the music onto a computer. You just have to uncheck the box that says something along the lines of: "Protect songs", "Protect Music", "Protected". There should be a check box next to each song.

I have a WD My bookEssential externL Hard drive. I encountered this problem-I reset my ex hard-drive by removing the usb cable-now i CAN PLAY ALL THE CD'S THAT i RIPPED ONTO MY PC'S HARD DRIVE, THEN MOVED THEM ON TO MY EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE.

Try resetting your pc-That might work.

Some 256Gb drives fell to less than $700 USD, and modifications can be made to existing drives to allow 1 terabyte of data storage. The price for an actual 1 Tb drive (solid-state drive) was still in the $3000 USD range in early 2011.

You can simply copy paste the folder but it might not work after transferring. this is because all the folder information and files location is registered in the registry while installing the program. In this case you have to reinstall the program to your external drive.

yes you can. at least in most cases. if you look on your motherboard (the biggest component of any computer internally), you'll see there is 2 (or 3)rectangular boxes right next to each other. that would be the hard disk/floppy disk bank. from each of the rectangles, there's a cord with a certain amount of pins. on each cord, there's (usually) 2 plugs that you can plug a hard disk or cd/dvd-rom into. there you have it.

drivers are similar to patches. you have probably heard of SP2 for windows. They are simply upgrades needed for compatibility, and in some cases are use to slighty improve the product. Overall they are a must. You can find the most up to date drivers online, as opposed to the disk sent with your product

Drivers are small programs that allow devices to run on your operating system, They are not PATCHES.

To removed write protected mode from your usb pen drive you must first reboot your device when your device comes back on press f8 frantically. This will prompt your device to advance settings, let your files load and than rename your pen drive and hit enter after that hit enter again when asked about the formatting of your new drive, press yes when the prompt appears, allow your system to reboot, this may take some time but after rebooting your pen drive will be removed.

If you are using it with the SD adaptor, the swith at the side marked lock is not to secure the micro sd card within the adaptor. This is the write protection. If you set this to the 'unlocked' position (up) then you should be able to write files onto it! very good thanks

Download and run as instructed.

This will format a drive of any size in one (or more if desired) partition. Remember that files larger that 4GB will not be recognised in FAT32 format. So break larger files up.

I ran mine in 'quick format' and it did it in seconds (otherwise it takes hours). Works perfectly.
