The duties of the mission department in a Baptist church can vary greatly, since Baptist churches are autonymous (self-governing). Additionally, missions can be understood as international only. However, for many, national, regional, and local missions may also be dealt with. However, there are some common themes.

1. Promotion/Training. The missions department/committee/team should

-Train the membership in areas of Christian mission

-Disseminate missions information for support and prayer

-Encourage and train members to be involved in missions work

2. Support.

-Support missionaries and/or missions projects (materially/financially)

-Maintain contact between church and mission groups/missionaries

-Encourage missions giving

-Provide input to the Finance Committee/church on mission budget

3. Involvement.

-Provide opportunities for missions involvement.

-Develop STM opportunities

-Partner with other departments or other churches on missions

Yes, I know James Moody.. The dancer from L.A. Yes, he used to dance for Usher..now he works for Chris Brown. With both artists, he has worked closely with them from the beginning of both of their careers. He's done numerous work-shops, and other projects with other artists in the past.

He is a cool performer, who likes to keep himself low-key compared to the other dancers.

Currently, he is touring with Chris Brown on Chris' new project.. If you would like, I can pass on any information to him for you..

I'm trying to start up a fanclub but you just mentioned he likes to keep himself low-key? (what do u mean by low-key?) so maybe it might not be a good idea.....actually its a number of us who would like to start it we've been supporting him from when he danced with Usher,brandy,ginuwine,beyonce,destinys child etc.

Most of this is luck. But sometimes you can find phone numbers.. You might even find Usher's phone number! Tell him that it would be a dream to meet him. Be really nice, tell some jokes, and who knows? I was looking on-line because I am a really big fan of Usher's, and found front row seats. If you buy them, you get to have a meet n' greet with Usher Raymond V himself! There are lots of other people who would like to meet him. Don't get high hopes for this. He is just like every other celebrity, busy. l hope this helps. I've dreamed of meeting Usher! Maybe you will, too.
