lol i have the same laptop... and sometimes the same problem.. i use msn to chat with my friends... and that's when i get the problem with my webcam.. and i just restart my computer and try it again! and it works 90% of the time xD when i do that =)

Go to >My Computer. At the very bottom, it should show a picture of a video camera with 'USB Video Device #2'. Double click the picture and you should see the light for your webcam turn on and a live-feed video will appear. You can only take still photos from here.
