The webcam on a Mac is controlled by the software using it. Launch Photobooth, Facetime, iChat, iMovie or any other software that requires the camera and it will be activated.

Yes - simply go to the Control panel, and select 'programs and features' - look for the software for the cam in the list - and click it. All you need to do is confirm you want to remove the software.

Run the application Photobooth (in the applications folder) if you can see yourself there is a camera built into your Mac (all the recent versions of the Mac will have a camera). if you cannot see yourself, or you do not have Photobooth, then you do not have a built in camera but you may have an external camera which will be obvious and will need to be plugged into your Mac for it to work.

If your webcam is UVC - USB Video Class compliant - and If you're running Windows Vista or Mac OSX 10.4 Tiger or 10.5 Leopard - the drivers for UVC webcams are built right into the operating system. No disc or drivers are needed.

To turn on an HP webcam:

1. Go to QuickPlay (press the blue-lighted button above the F3 key (or next to the power button)).

2. When QuickPlay shows up, there is a row of six icons across the bottom of the screen: click on the second one from the left (the one with the photo-movie_reel-music_notes).

3. A window with three 'frames' shows up. On the left frame there are six items: the fifth one should say 'HP Webcam'. Click on it.

4. The webcam's blue LED light should now be turned on. There should be a rectangle with dimensions of ratio 1:2 which should show what the camera is sensing.

5. There is a row of seven buttons above that rectangle: the seventh is for taking snapshots and the sixth for recording videos.

6. Videos and pictures are saved at:

Pictures -- C:\Users\Public\Public Pictures\My Snapshots

Videos -- C:\Users\Public\Public Videos\HP Webcam

If you have a webcam there should be a little webcam icon directly underneath your display picture, and you click that. When you click that, it should say "show my webcam" and "start a video call." If you would like to talk to the person using a microphone (if you have one) and see them at the same time, you click "start a video call." If you just want to work your webcam, then you click "show my webcam." You should then see yourself where your display picture normally is once the webcam has started working.

you want to go to start or where you can get on to your webcam right click on it and you will see a drop bax appear click options and then video capture and you can change it in to negative colour sepia and many others hope this helps you lot out

go to start menu, search for you cam.

click the one that says Cyberlink Youcam. NOT the one that has (webcam) after it.

once that is open then go to skype and click tools then options,

and under video go to the drop down menu that is at the top right ( i believe )

and change it from your default webcam to the youcam.

once this happens make your video call and you should see the youcam video effects panel popup shortly after your webcam starts

You need to have the cell text the email, then when u get the text on ur email, you will have the phones email. Then you just reply and attach the picture and send it. You should receive the picture soon sometimes u might have to send it multiple times to get it. It has taken 2 hours one time to get a picture. It just depends on ur phone provider and the the email acc.
