Or you commit suicide before number 5
I don't know near enough to answer definitively, but there is an increased risk of suicide in taking this drug in people under 25, as well as an increased risk of seizures (as opposed to other anti-depressants, but not necessarily at 150 mg). 150 mg is half of the usual adult recommended daily dosage. It might be wise to get another opinion on this diagnosis and prescription.

What causes more weight loss statterra or welbutrin?
Welbutrin MAY help you loose weight. Welbutrin does not change the chemical make up of your body's fat cells, and it not increase your metabolism. It represses your thoughs of eating for comfort, allows you to pay more attention to the signals in your brain that say "Hey! I'm full". This especially helps people that overeat due to "food addiction" (The constant need to eat all the time to make yourself feel better.)
Welbutrin is not approved to be perscribed for weight loss alone. I is approved for people to over-eat when they feel upset, or lonely, of have nothing to do. Welbutrin breaks the behaviors that lead to over eating.
This question is best answered by a psychiatrist who is knowledgeable about multiple diagnoses. The point of these medications is to help us feel better. I can share my experience, but I cannot recommend specific medications, since I am not a medical doctor. I do recommend that you see both a psychiatrist for medications, and a therapist to talk about feelings. I have seen 3 psychiatrists in 13 years, and none of them want to talk about feelings except as they relate to the medications. A therapist can help you figure out what is an effect of the medication, and what is a "genuine" feeling - and sometimes it's very hard to tell between them. Medications often have mild to strong side effects at first, and sometimes in the long term. Effexor got me out of the black hole of depression, and I functioned at work, but I was so tired all the time that I had no life outside of work. My life revolved around naps. Wellbutrin has brought me out of that. As I very slowly discontinued the Effexor, however, the anxiety returned. My psychiatrist added Buspar, and I feel much better. Each person reacts differently to these medications. We each have a unique chemical marinade in our brains - and I have to be vigilant about pursuing the best solution at all times for me. I always research the doctor's information, because side effects that are bad for one person may not occur with another person. All my psychiatrists have admitted that they cannot predict the results from one patient to the next, taking the same medication or combination. What works for me may not work for other people. I have been in talk therapy since 1970, and on both meds and talk therapy since 1995. Only now, at age 57, have I finally found the emotional balance I have sought for so long, and the energy to enjoy it. Many people and efforts have helped me stick it through. The following comment was one of the biggest helps to me as I hung in there: The second step in AA is "Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity." When I first got sober (in 1984), and was no longer self-medicating, my anxiety and fears came back full force sometimes. A schizophrenic friend told me once "The 2nd step says '... could restore us to sanity,' not 'would.' Some of us have to be grateful with what we have." He had chemical swings that would bring on his paranoia, but the doctors would fiddle with the meds, and he'd come back. I've been searching for the right meds since 1995, and it's taken perseverance, talk therapy, time and some luck to get to the right combination for me. Don't give up, the miracle is just around the corner. So be vigilant, and pursue the best you can be. You are in charge of your emotional balance, be steadfast and always hopeful that you find your solution, and treasure every improvement.
What are the withdrawal symptoms of Wellbutrin?
I have been taking Wellbutrin XL 150 for about a year and with the advice of my psychiatrist, I stopped taking it. Abruptly. And nothing bad happened. In fact I feel better than before. I am less moody. I usually have a few horrible days of PMS but this month I felt cheerful and not as irritable as I usually do. No feelings of depression or fatigue, no fights with my husband, no crying jags, NOTHING! I am also not experiencing the daily headaches and dizziness I usually experienced while I was taking it. It served it's purpose, but now I'm done with this drug. I don't need it anymore. Yay!
How do you get off a weight loss plateau?
Change your exercise routine, even if it's good. I went from daily cardio to a mix of Circuit training, cardio and interval training and while the scale didn't move everyone says I look better and my clothes got looser. I did this spending less time at the gym and eating the same. It's probably not what I did, just that my body had got used to the old thing.
Can fluanxol and Wellbutrin be taken together?
Yes! I've been diagnosed with bipolar mood disorder type 2 and have been stable on this drug combination for the past two years!
How do you wean yourself off of Wellbutrin?
I weaned myself off of Wellbutrin (was taking 300 mg XL daily) by taking my usual dose for a week, then taking my usual dose every other day for a week and then stopping altogether. I expected to have flu-like symptoms so I planned a couple days off work during the third week, my first week of not taking any. I was a little tired but nothing too bad. I just planned a couple of rest days. Another experience: I was on Wellbutrin for six months. I started on 150 XL / day then reduced to 100 / day and finally for one week to 75. My doctor told me I could stop immediately. I did try to stop the 150XL on my own and ten days later I was manic (but I also was trying to stop Klonopin at the same time). My guess is the manic feeling was more related to the cessation of Klonopin without a long term taper (especially after being on it for over two years).
Most articles on here, and on Medline seem to indicate that there is not a discontinuation syndrome like the other SSRIs. They do reference flu like symptoms but not a return to depression and anxiety. I am off Wellbutrin because the medication, even in low doses, really made me anxious, jittery and I dropped 25 pounds (which is fine).
I'm still on Trazadone for sleep until further notice.
Wellbutrin is an anti depressant, but it does have some potential side effects

I am currently taking .5mg Xanax XR twice a day, with Celexa and my Dr. just added Bupropion. The pharmacist also said that they are all safe to take together.
Does Wellbutrin cause infidelity?
No, or should I say that it does not cause infidelity more than being intoxicated with alcohol does. If he told you "sorry I was hammered at the time I boffed your sister", and you accept that as an excuse, then yes Wellbutrin causes infidelity. If not, then NO.
Does bupropion generic for Wellbutrin make your urine smell bad?
I have the same question. It seem like my son's urine smells awful now that he is taking it.
Does Wellbutrin affect the use of trimix?
I would not think it would affect the use of trimix, but it could affect whether you should be diving at all. I don't think it would, but a medical professional should be answering this part.
Can you start taking 300Mg Wellbutrin without taking low dosage first?
My doctor prescribed 300mg to me to start with. I was on Paxil 40mg...Wellbutrin seemed to be working for me but I have been feeling angry and irritable on the WB. Food cravings have been less though. Doc is switching me to 20mg of prozac. I will see what I feel like after weaning off WB.
Talk to your doctor! Going off of anti-depressants and/or starting another drug is something that they should definitely know about and advise you on.
