Uncut sheets are something of a niche market, so any value would be very dependant on demand as opposed to rarity.

A Reserve Bank of New Zealand 2000 uncut sheet of 20 Ten Dollar notes (Millennium issue)(Chief Cashier D.T. Brash - serial NZ 00), in absolute mint condition could fetch up to $750 AUD.

To get a valuation on a New Zealand bank note, you will need to provide the denomination of the note, the name of the Governor or the Chief Cashier of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and the serial number.

Nothing now (except for historical value), it was worth less than one dollar in December 1922, due to the hyper-inflation in Germany at the time. Many people have kept the old money from that period as souvenirs. I have some in the million mark reichsbanknote denominations. These make good exhibits for history lessons, keep it if you are interested in history. Otherwise find someone to donate it to.

Traditional banknotes are printed on cotton paper, which can be torn, creased and destroyed by washing.

Polymer banknotes are made from a type of polypropylene plastic which is very durable.

Wow. That's quite the list you're requesting. If you're referring to the US dollar, only the United States and a few central American countries and small islands do. No other countries use it as the mainstream currency, although the USD is valued so high, that most if can be used to buy things in most countries. It is also used heavily in international trade.

All modern issue Chinese banknotes are in Standard Mandarin only. The only non-Chinese characters used are for the romanized name for the 'The People's Bank of China' on the reverse - Zhongguo Renmin Yinhang along with the romanized name of the chairman of the bank, which for current issues is Yingjie Xinshiji Jinianchao.

You do not specify the Chief Cashier or the type of One Pound note.

A Bank of England One Pound note beginning with Serial 37J could have been -

1934 - Chief Cashier K.O. Peppiatt - Series A green - Britannia on the front and the Bank of England building on the reverse.

1960 - Chief Cashier L.K. O'Brien - Series C green - QEII on the front and Britannia on the reverse.

197? - Chief Cashier J.B. Page - Series D green - QEII on the front and Isaac Newton on the reverse.

A Bank of England Ten Shilling note (Series C - red/brown)(J.S. Fforde - serial 66X), uncirculated and in absolute mint condition could fetch anything up to £14 GBP. If it has been circulated but still in good condition, it might fetch anything from £2 to £6 GBP.

A very good used example is worth $0.75, rising to $12.50 in mint uncirculated condition.

They printed it like there was no tomorrow -- value as you would wallpaper.

With very few exceptions, there is no way to recognise a valuable banknote by just looking at it.

The exceptions are usually, any first or last of a series with all digits the same, eg. A01A 000000.

Value comes with rarity and/or age, or some peculiarity with the banknote that might make it a collectable. You are going to have to work for it.

You need to be able to identify your note properly, including such detail as the design, the Chief Cashiers signature and the Bank that issued it, the serial number if applicable and the colour and font of the serial number, the date if applicable, whether or not it has a watermark and what the watermark is, variations in the colour, whether or not it has a metallic strip and where the strip is located on the note, even whether or not it might be a forgery, and last but not least, the condition of the banknote.

Condition is all important since no collector will part with large sums of money for a mutilated banknote unless it is the only one known to exist.

Armed with the details previously mentioned and anything else you can find out about your banknote, get hold of a banknote catalogue from your local library and try to match your banknote up with something in the catalogue. Most good catalogues will also contain an article on the grading of notes.

When you think you might have something of value, take it along to your local reputable coin dealer for a valuation.

"Nam Muoi Dong" means '50 Dồng' in Vietnamese, Dồng being the currency of Vietnam.

Because of the complicated history of that country, there are at least 7 different issues, from three separate countries (north Vietnam, south Vietnam and Vietnam). You would have to describe in detail what is on both faces of the note; for example, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam 1985 issue 50 Dồng has two variants; a) Green and brown with picture of a dam and electric power station (worth $7). b) Blue-grey and Orange with picture of a bridge (worth $3).

There were lots of different 1 pfennig issues during the Nazi period, mostly military notes. You would have to provide more of a description (colour, size, example text, etc) and an indication of the condition.

The Bank of England has issued banknotes since it was founded in 1694 and today all Bank of England notes are produced by De La Rue Currency, a subsiduary of De La Rue plc, situated at Loughton in Essex.
